The countdown to Thanksgiving has officially begun! On Friday I had the pleasure of hosting my very first “Friendsgiving,” …and it was SO fun! Eight friends, a beautiful table setup and a fabulous setting thanks to Zilkr On The Park Condos who let us borrow a condominium for the day…(with a gorgeous view overlooking Zilker Park!). Watson even made an appearance ;)…(and tried to eat everything in sight haha ah!). Spilling the details on our tablescape and a behind the scenes look at the shindig and condo space!

Happy Friday, y’all! This post has been a long time coming and I am finally sharing the scoop on my blog photography equipment! From what camera we use at home and for travel, who my go-to Austin photographers are and everything in between…let’s get to it!
“Dear caffeine, please give me the strength to get through the day!” 😉 Anyone else feel like this is the go-to, half-asleep conversation with their espresso machine in the morning? As soon as I see those blinking lights and the capsule producing that smooth, perfect espresso shot, I know it’s aaaaall going to be okay! Alright, perhaps I’m over-sharing when it comes to my love for coffee. But then again, coffee is not just a beverage to me, it’s a lifestyle that provides energy (gotta tackle those photo edits!), peace (it’s my favorite way to spend “me time”) and often a way to enjoy a catch-up sesh with friends or family at home. Without a doubt, sipping coffee is my favorite daily ritual.

Hello there! How’s your week going? I’m beyond elated to take a break from blog life and do a little traveling with my best friends this week. Things in my world have been a lot more hectic than I’ve shared recently…so stepping away from responsibility and my inbox is a very welcomed (and necessary) break! I thought that “working for myself” would allow for a lot more vacation days than a 9-5, but in fact, recently it’s been the opposite. When you’re your own boss, it’s that much harder to turn it off…and that much more challenging not to feel guilty when you do.

Hello friends! I am pretty darn excited to share a little peek into our new home today! These are all iPhone snaps…and yes, I definitely took these with the intention of sending them to mom and not posting on my blog haha. Buuut after so much wonderful feedback on my Instagram Stories last night (I did a mini-before/after progress report), I figured it would be super fun to document our house little by little.
