Happy long weekend, gals! Also…say whaaaaat we are TWO weeks away from the wedding, “I literally can’t even” is a real phrase running through my mind…ha! Hold that thought while I go chug some coffee in the corner here…haha ah! All good…right about now is when it’s necessary to throw on a super cute top & pair of jeans and grab a glass of wine (or just hand me the bottle, really..) and let all my stresses go for a couple of hours. Sounds pretty darn wonderful if you ask me! 😉 And hey, the Friday of a 3-day-weekend should not be spent feeling bogged down or stressed out. (…Yep, totally just going to keep telling myself that! 😉 ).

Coffee Date In Express Denim

Hey ladies! How’s your week going? Mine has been pretty good! I’ve been waking up early and staying on top of my to-do list…and keeping the apartment clean (an actual miracle if you know me..!)…feeling pretty good about life right now! It’s amazing what a clean house/uncluttered workspace can do – going to try my best to keep this up!

In other {good} news, I did a little denim shopping at Express last weekend and got to bust out these gorgeous jeans for a coffee date with Blake a few days ago. Coffee + good jeans + Blake = best date ever! 😉 In the midst of running around Austin to check off last minute wedding to-do’s, it felt pretty good grab an iced coffee and enjoy a “day date” together – it was so nice to slow down for a bit!

Hello there! Hope your week is off to a great start! 🙂 Mine started off crazier than ever (true story: the last month of wedding planning calls for more bottles of wine and longer bubble baths than I thought… definitely losing my sanity and trying to stay afloat at the moment, ah!). Thus, this past weekend Blake was a total gem and said “hey Olivia, let’s go grab coffee and sit on a patio and just turn it all off for a minute”…and you better believe it was amazing and I definitely needed a break like this one! I slipped on my comfiest kicks, go-to jeans and the cutest textured, lace-front tank top & we drove over to Cafe Medici near UT campus – he snapped a few outfit shots before we made our way to hot lattes and breakfast tacos. It was pretty wonderful – I am very excited to marry a man who knows me so well and steps in when he sees I can’t handle things anymore! (…And to also marry a man who agrees to take pictures of me next to walls before we go on a date…ha!).

Hello there! How’s your week going? This week has been pretty darn busy in my world… hence my lack of posts this week! ..Not to mention after the hustle and bustle of the Nordstrom Sale, I needed a breather from my laptop! I’ve been in full-on wedding planning mode the past few days and truth be told, I’ve been missing the sanctuary of my go-to coffeehouse and my laptop quite a bit! (So calming, I love it!!). It felt so nice to get back into my usual routine today, looking forward to sharing more fun posts with y’all this week! 🙂

Drop Waist Dress

Happy weekend, loves! Blake and I went and had drinks with his co-workers last night then ventured over to one of our favorite Mexican food restaurants to end the night with tacos and a little Olympic opening ceremony viewing – it was the perfect Friday night! The restaurant was packed and everyone cheered when team USA came on the screen, it was so fun! Today we’re doing some cleaning (…classic weekend routine in our abode, meh!) and then headed to go look at wedding bands (…rings, not like music haha) …eek, I am so excited! Inching our way to the altar haha, it’s been so nice to take our time with planning and not feel rushed to get stuff done – definitely a perk of a long engagement! Curious to see what our options are since we’ll have to custom make a band for my ring (it’s not a traditional engagement setting, so we’ll see how this one goes!). Either way… very happy to peruse jewelry stores all day long.. 😉 Blake may just have to drag me out, ha!

Soo… onto this look! This is the last weekend to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and scoop up fall clothing/accessories/beauty products for WAY less than full price – but it ends August 7th! My drop waist dress and over the knee boots are in this sale and seriously, this combo is SO CUTE!! (Dress now $59, reg. $90 – boots now $139, reg. $240!!).

Happy Thursday, gals! I really can’t believe this week is nearly over.. it zoomed on by! (…Not mad about it either, ha!). The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost over, just 4 days left until all of the new fall items go back up to full price! Like this adorable bell sleeve dress (comes in SIX color options… it’s the cutest!) and my lace-up pumps.. are these not gorgeous?! If there was ever a time to scoop up super cute fall clothes smack in the middle of summer (..because yes, that does sound really weird, I’m aware 😉 ), the time is now! Trust me, you may just kick yourself come Monday morning when you realize you could have saved $50 on these heels had you bought them today… #justsayin’ 😉
