What To Wear To A Spring Wedding
Hey gals! I’m currently en route to Palm Beach, Florida for a fun collaboration with the Lilly Pulitzer team – actually writing this from the airplane! I grabbed my mom and we’re ready for a couple days of r&r and hopefully a few margaritas by the pool. I am in desperate need of a relaxing getaway right about now! You can follow the fun over on my Instagram feed (trust me, their spring/summer collections are SO cute!!). Can’t wait to share more as we get settled in and hit the beach!
If you’ve followed me for a while, you may have noticed that I wear a lot of J.O.A. clothing (this brand is sold at Nordstrom and Shopbop, which is where I discovered it!). There’s a reason I keep coming back for more of their beautiful products, and when I saw this adorable ruffled maxi dress, I knew right away I needed to share it with y’all! It would SO perfect worn to a spring (…or summer!) wedding.

It’s been a doozy of week in the Watson/Printy house – so fiiiiinally taking some time to curl my hair, shave my legs (ahh, necessary to feel refreshed), and throw on a sexy and seriously GORGEOUS
Let’s start the week on a high note because….LOFT is having a 40% off site-wide
Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start! I’m excited to share a few of my favorite spring pieces in today’s post – and in particular, those GORG shoes! Ohh how I swooned when I first put them on…lace-up, a higher heel (hello, longer legs!), peep-toe…these are magical shoes that make you feel extra confident and fabulous. Not to mention, they’re casual yet statement-worthy enough to rock to the cutest, low-key brunch/coffee spot in town – Hillside Farmacy. (…I mean really, how cute is their patio?!).
Simple, classic and chic – I think this might be one of my all-time favorite outfits. Stripes, pointed toe flats, the prettiest bucket bag…it’s the recipe for a timeless look you can wear again and again. Swap the denim skirt for high waist skinny jeans and add a belt, or get workwear ready with an adorable pair of black or camel dress pants. I am a big fan of getting more bang for your buck (always!), so investing in items you’ll get wear out of for years to come is a big “do” in my book.
Happy Monday, gals! How was your weekend? Blake and I ordered takeout and watched Heavyweights (remember that awesome Ben Stiller film from the 90s?) – Blake hadn’t ever seen it! I was like, “where was your childhood?!” 😉 It was a classic in the Watson household growing up. Aside from that, we kept busy doing some spring cleaning and spending time with family…it was a nice, relaxing few days!
Y’all know me, I can’t so no to stripes! Truly…it’s my very favorite print – so happy, yet classic and timeless. With spring in full bloom here in Austin, the warmer weather has me reaching for breezy dresses and light layers. This darling dress will be a closet staple year round (pair with espadrille sandals and a cute straw hat for summer) and I am especially loving it with OTK boots (…psst..if you don’t yet have a tan, OTK boots make for an excellent pairing with dresses, ha!) …and of course layered with my favorite utility jacket.
Hello gals, how’s your weekend going? Life has been kind of crazy in my world recently, I can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to…I’ll be spilling all the details in mid-April, so stay tuned!! That said, my schedule has been pretty insane with some added stress thrust our way over the past week and a half (fear not! It’s great news, just a LOT to do in the next month in preparation!) – thus, I want to apologize for my delay in getting those Weekly Chats up and sharing more spring content! Just when I felt like I was finally getting into a rhythm/routine with my blog schedule, the universe had another plan in store! Felt I should let y’all know in case you’ve noticed a lag in my post time.
Ohh spring, how I love you so. This week has been pretty incredible when it comes to Austin weather, and I’ve forced myself to get outside everyday and take full advantage! I am going on day 4 of my “Olivia, step away from your computer and do something outdoors” daily mission, and truth be told, it’s been heavenly. There’s just nothing quite like Vitamin D, comfy sneakers and a phone call with my sister/mom/friend to get all the happy feels going in my mind and body. Going to do my best to keep up this positive form of daily activity…I can already tell it’s making a big difference!
