Coffee Talk With Nespresso
“Dear caffeine, please give me the strength to get through the day!” 😉 Anyone else feel like this is the go-to, half-asleep conversation with their espresso machine in the morning? As soon as I see those blinking lights and the capsule producing that smooth, perfect espresso shot, I know it’s aaaaall going to be okay! Alright, perhaps I’m over-sharing when it comes to my love for coffee. But then again, coffee is not just a beverage to me, it’s a lifestyle that provides energy (gotta tackle those photo edits!), peace (it’s my favorite way to spend “me time”) and often a way to enjoy a catch-up sesh with friends or family at home. Without a doubt, sipping coffee is my favorite daily ritual.

Are you a fan of houseplants? Not going to lie, my thumb was nowhere near green until we moved into our house…then suddenly, my passion for houseplants blossomed (har har) and I became a little obsessed (…and went kind of house-plant-crazy) and added fresh greens to every room in one weekend! The good news? You don’t have to break the bank to freshen up your living space when it comes to buying plants. Succulents are inexpensive, last forever (knock on wood) and there are SO MANY awesome and stylish ways to display them!
As I dive deeper into decorating the new house, adding bursts of color and texture to a room is made a lot easier with the help of a few adorable throw pillows! I gravitate towards white, airy spaces with hints of color here and there, so investing in key neutral pieces when it comes to furniture (our sofa is light grey, the rug is cream with a grey design as seen above) and then filling in the space with cozy color pops is my plan of action.
