Hello there! How’s your week going? This week has been pretty darn busy in my world… hence my lack of posts this week! ..Not to mention after the hustle and bustle of the Nordstrom Sale, I needed a breather from my laptop! I’ve been in full-on wedding planning mode the past few days and truth be told, I’ve been missing the sanctuary of my go-to coffeehouse and my laptop quite a bit! (So calming, I love it!!). It felt so nice to get back into my usual routine today, looking forward to sharing more fun posts with y’all this week! 🙂

…Aaaand to start off, this look! 😉 How cute is this striped cold shoulder top?! LOVE the fun tie detailing at the shoulders and the print is super adorable – such a breezy, pretty little top. I paired it with some new and seriously AMAZING denim skinny jeans by DL1961… been a big fan of this brand for a long time and was so excited when these gorgeous new skinnies arrived in the mail last week! Excited to rock these on cooler summer days (…er, nights in Austin..it’s so hot right now during the day) and well into fall and winter!

Drop Waist Dress

Happy weekend, loves! Blake and I went and had drinks with his co-workers last night then ventured over to one of our favorite Mexican food restaurants to end the night with tacos and a little Olympic opening ceremony viewing – it was the perfect Friday night! The restaurant was packed and everyone cheered when team USA came on the screen, it was so fun! Today we’re doing some cleaning (…classic weekend routine in our abode, meh!) and then headed to go look at wedding bands (…rings, not like music haha) …eek, I am so excited! Inching our way to the altar haha, it’s been so nice to take our time with planning and not feel rushed to get stuff done – definitely a perk of a long engagement! Curious to see what our options are since we’ll have to custom make a band for my ring (it’s not a traditional engagement setting, so we’ll see how this one goes!). Either way… very happy to peruse jewelry stores all day long.. 😉 Blake may just have to drag me out, ha!

Soo… onto this look! This is the last weekend to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and scoop up fall clothing/accessories/beauty products for WAY less than full price – but it ends August 7th! My drop waist dress and over the knee boots are in this sale and seriously, this combo is SO CUTE!! (Dress now $59, reg. $90 – boots now $139, reg. $240!!).

Happy Thursday, gals! I really can’t believe this week is nearly over.. it zoomed on by! (…Not mad about it either, ha!). The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost over, just 4 days left until all of the new fall items go back up to full price! Like this adorable bell sleeve dress (comes in SIX color options… it’s the cutest!) and my lace-up pumps.. are these not gorgeous?! My Minimalist Makeup Routine

Wahoo! Today is my FIRST ever beauty post! I have been hesitant to venture into the beauty realm of the blog world for a number of reasons (which I’ll share in this post, fear not!), but after giving a number of Juice Beauty products a try starting in March (from lotion to night cream and lipstick to loose powder – this stuff is wonderful, trust me), I am finally ready and feeling really good about sharing my makeup routine with y’all! Olive Dress

Hello there! How’s your week going? I am currently writing this from my favorite coffeehouse… sitting in a cinnamon bun food coma and feeling half guilty (…I am 6 weeks away from the wedding, right? *insert monkey emoji covering its eyes here*) and told myself I’d “be good” to my body and try to eat cleaner leading up to the big day… but alas, they ran out of breakfast tacos (…because that’s better for me, right? 😉 ) sooo… the cinnamon bun it was! Oh well, I can start at lunchtime, I guess…ha!

Costa Rica Bachelorette Trip!

Hello everyone! AH, I am SO EXCITED to finally share the behind-the-scenes scoop from my bachelorette party getaway to Costa Rica! If you follow me on Snapchat, you likely got a first hand view of all the action…from the most hilarious wigs we all wore as soon as we got to the airport (thanks to my sister for surprising us with those!!), to the insanely stunning house we rented for the week, to watching my best friends belt show-tunes at the top of their lungs after a dozen bottles of wine at dinner…Yep, it was as magical as it sounds! 😉 I seriously could not have asked for a more incredible time and trust me, I am totally tearing up as I go through these photos and write this post because y’all, being surrounded by your very best friends – everyone happy and carefree as can be – all together to celebrate you? Words can’t describe how grateful I am for these precious and unforgettable days together!

My friends live all over the United States, so we decided together that it would be more fun for everyone to meet somewhere new and explore together – and Costa Rica was the perfect place.

Hello! How’s your week going? We’re inching our way to the weekend and I am SO ready! This week has been non-stop (…hey, what’s new, right?) so I am counting down the minutes to Friday at 5pm! Definitely in need of a cocktail and to step away from my computer and into some fabulous jeans and heels… doesn’t that sound nice? 😉 Speaking of, today’s blog post is all about gorgeous denim that makes you look and feel ahh-mazing! Little White Embroidered Dress

I know I say this about every post…but y’all, I am reaaaally excited about this one! For starters, I do realize that it’s 100 degrees and I’ve been in fall fashion mode with the big Nsale this past week and a half – so, it’s definitely nice to take a breather and feature an outfit that we can wear right now! Second, I am thrilled to partner with Abercrombie & Fitch to talk about their new arrivals…this dress being one of them! One of my best friends worked as a copywriter for A&F after college and really loved her time there (she gave me a tour of the “campus” when I went up to Ohio to visit her one winter, it was pretty cool!)…not to mention the hand-me-downs she gave me were THE cutest ever (it literally felt like Christmas when she would say, “Hey Liv, I’ve got some clothes to give away…want to go through my closet?” That moment = always a good one. Needless to say, I sort of fangirl’d a bit when A&F reached out! It was tough to narrow down what I wanted to feature, but this pretty off-white dress really stood out – I love the classy yet boho vibe and the versatility of the neckline, you’ll see me wear it as an off-shoulder dress in this post, too. So, now that I’ve gone full-dork and explained my love for A&F (but let’s be honest…do you expect any less from me? Ha!), let’s get to this look! 😉
