My Hat Obsession Continues
I think my hat racks are officially overflowing…and I am not slowing down anytime soon! 😉 Y’all know I loooove me a good boho fedora hat (this one is my go-to), but I’m pretty darn excited to add the fisherman’s hat trend to my rotation! It’s small, it’s chic, it can feel dressed up or casual…BIG fan over here. I feel like I’ve been pinning this hat for months (Pinterest is my very favorite for outfit inspiration! You can follow me here), and I had some fun styling this look for a fun, funky  date night outfit. True story: Blake LOVED this outfit! He isn’t always super vocal about what I wear (…let’s just say I got a flatline when I wore my overalls in Japan, haha!), but he was definitely into this one. Atta way! 😉

Ohh the possibilities when it comes to the perfect white blouse. Dress it up, dress it down, wear it to brunch, wear it to the office…without a doubt, it’s a closet must. Though a plain white button down will do the trick, there are so many beautifully detailed additions to a classic white blouse out these days (like eyelet + ruffles) – and I can’t get enough!
Happy weekend, y’all! Blake is sound asleep next to me while I write this post from our hotel room in Tokyo. I woke up early for a conference call with a brand I’ll be working with in May (…4am in Tokyo is 3pm in NYC! …yes, it was brutal, ah!) and I couldn’t fall back to sleep after it was over. Thus, I went downstairs to grab some coffee and figured I’d get in a blog post while I’ve got the time (and energy!). During the call, she let me know that it’s 80 degrees in NYC today (yay for no more snow!) and I’m assuming it’s well over that by now in Austin, haha ah…! Which means time to bust out your cutest tank (this one is just $20!!), a great pair of denim and some gorgeous wedges (that are crazy comfy!). Let’s get to it… 😉

Hello and happy Friday! …We made it! 😉 I don’t know about y’all, but nothing says “WEEKEND!” like ultra comfy basics you can wear all year long.
