livvyland-blog-olivia-watson-austin-texas-lifestyle-fashion-mom-blog-north-face-heritage-crew-sweatshirtLife with an infant and toddler means staying home a LOT. Like, pretty much 24/7. Jude is active from six in the morning until 8pm (not even joking, he is a wild man, ha!), so we spend loads of time in our backyard! Honestly, what sold us on our new house was the backyard…we knew we’d want to have space for the boys to run around, play and get all their energy out. It was the best decision we’ve ever made…we basically live back here from sunrise to sunset! And like most folks in the time of Covid, spending more time at home has simply been a must. As the weather changes and temperatures drop, I’m reaching for cozy layers and weather-proof shoes to keep me warm – and to keep up with my lil man as I chase him all over the yard!

How cute are Jude’s UGG boots?! He loves shoes just like his mama, ha! He is so proud of his new shoes! They’re warm and I love that they have a thick rubber sole so he can run around and step on branches without ever missing a beat.

This month is a great time to scoop up warm weather clothes and shoes for everyone on your holiday shopping list, too. November is always a big sale month for Backcountry (from brand sales to Black Friday and Cyber Monday). Every year I do a big shopping haul during the sale and am able to cross off so many people on our shopping list. Save money now and save yourself the worry as we inch closer to December!

I’ve posted about this awesome Patagonia Radalie Insulated Jacket before – I’ve had it for years and even took it to Iceland…it’s amazing! Super warm but not too puffy…and it’s easy to layer..Plus, it’s featured in the Big Brands Sale, yay! I’m wearing a XS for reference. My The North Face Heritage Crew Sweatshirt is SO soft and I love that pretty dusty rose color. I have on a medium – this would be an AWESOME gift idea, too! Lastly, my Sorel Emelie Boots are my tried and trues…I wear them constantly for hiking and now all the time in the yard. Super durable, warm and comfortable. I went a half size up from my usual, highly recommend!

Whether you need warm gear to take on fall and winter in your own backyard, or you’re getting some holiday shopping done, definitely check out Backcountry. Sharing a handful my favorite gift ideas for the gals below – under $100! Who doesn’t love a cozy sweatshirt you can wear with leggings at home and jeans for an outing? I am 100% a fan of that!

As always, use code LIVVY15 to take 15% off your first purchase! (Exclusions apply). More awesome news? Backcountry has partnered with Klarna to offer interest-free payment plans (just in time for holiday shopping!).

A big thank you to Backcountry for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.
