Happy weekend, ladies! How was your week? I am writing this post from our hotel in NYC, my friend Elissa is sound asleep and I woke up early to grab coffee and peruse the internet (…aka a happy place of mine haha). If you follow me on Instagram, I shared that I am tagging along with Elissa on all of her work overnights this week (she’s a flight attendant), which means a day in Amsterdam, NYC and our final stop is Iceland! It has been a complete whirlwind blast and I am so thankful to 1. see her in action (her job is no joke, I’d be a zombie, these ladies don’t ever stop!) and 2. see two countries I have been dying to visit! She made me her work companion, so I am able to hop on these flights for free if there are extra seats available. Lots of airport time, seeing a weeks worth of sights in a day (I have consumed an unreasonably amount of coffee on this trip haha) and spending some wonderful quality time with my oldest friend! (Known her since we were 15). Life is good and I am so grateful for these memories we’re creating together. Lots of delirious laugh attacks already haha and more to come as we continue on this trip!

Happy Monday, ladies! How was your weekend? Blake and I celebrated our one year anniversary with a stay-cation at a hotel here in town…it was fun to get away yet be 10 minutes from home! We indulged in drinking a little too much wine and I was asleep by 10pm, ha! Seriously…I am SUCH a granny these days. All good, I was deep in a food and wine coma…sign of a good evening in my opinion haha.
Fall is just a couple of weeks away! In the meantime, I’m excited to stock up on a few essentials for the new season…and namely, these gorgeous mule booties. Insert about ten heart eye emojis here. 😉
Hey ladies! Pardon my radio silence over the past week…things got kinda hectic in my world (to put it lightly! One of those “I need 10 of me” kind of things…), so it was time to take a step back from posting content and instead focus on creating some good stuff headed to LL very soon! Currently I am taking the weekend to recenter and get organized…I’ve just spent the past three hours at a random Starbucks in South Austin listening to everything from Odessa to Beyonce and finishing strong with new John Mayer, as I buckle down and knock out emails + photo edit (our laundry room is DONE! And so are the photos – wahoooooo!). Anyways…life is good, I am alive and the caffeine has kicked in…nothin’ like some quality tunes and a cozy coffeehouse nook…my happy place!
Haaaappy Friday, ladies! (Well, we’re close enough now.. 😉 ). Phewww…this week was a doozy, very glad to have a weekend of recovery! Our laundry room renovation is SO close to being complete…adding final touches and making a couple changes, then it’s time to snap the photos and share with the world. 😉 Can’t wait…it’s a beauty!
