Hello there, gals! I am currently writing this from up in the air en route to NYC! I just finished editing about three different rounds of blog photos (so much cute stuff headed to LL!) and on my third cup of coffee at the moment. I woke up at 3:30am to pack (did I mention I’m the most disorganized human ever? Had zero time to get to that last night..eek!) and had coffee at home, then another at the airport and again on the plane – thus, this girl is not ready to sleep any time soon, haha. Also – I feel like the lady next to me probably thinks I’m a crazy as I edit photos of myself…always feel super weird about that part in public when people have no idea this is normal for me, ha!

Hi ladies! Eek, I am SO excited to finally share with you all a fun (and playful and very colorful 😉 ) collab I’ve been hard at work on these past couple of weeks with the wonderful team over at Kate Spade New York! As you know if you’ve followed me for a while, I am constantly drawn to casual tops that can easily be styled in more ways than one (…have y’all seen my Instagram lately? ha! Haaaappy Friday, gals! I know I say this every week…but I am seriously SO glad it’s the weekend! I hope you all had a wonderful week and have some fun plans for the next couple of days ahead – or perhaps have no plans and get to enjoy a full r&r weekend to yourself (aren’t those the best? Very rare and must be cherished haha). I have a crazy busy weekend planned but it will all be a lot of fun! Tomorrow we’re celebrating my sweet nephew’s 3rd birthday with a big ‘ol kiddo-gym shindig (basically 30 adorable kids running around with giant smiles on their faces for a few hours straight…while Blake and I sit back in the corner and eat pizza and drink juice boxes together – ha!). Then Saturday evening we’re getting all dolled up for the Blanton Museum Gala – a live band and Blake in a suit, ha! Sign me up! 😉  …and I get to bust out my new Kate Spade heels…double YAY! Then on Sunday my mom and sister and I are going to drive to Houston to try on some bridesmaid dresses at BHLDN (…I know, I know, I’m a little obsessed with this store haha). There’s one particular style in mind for our wedding and I can’t wait to see what it looks like on my sister…will share some scenes from the trip on Snapchat (livvylandblog), so follow along!

Happy Saturday, ladies! I am super excited to chat about one of my favorite trends (that I have a feeling may just stick around forever..!) – “athleisure” … ya know, that whole might be working out later but probably just running errands or grabbing coffee in a very stylish yet somewhat athletic outfit… 😉 Ha! Basically in the city of Austin, this look is acceptable at all times.
