Cozy Winter Boots
After spending a week in Iceland, if there’s one thing I learned is worth the investment, it’s most definitely warm, winter boots! From experience, frozen toes are NO fun (…true story: you could find me sitting shotgun with my feet on the dash, heat blowing full blast haha ah!). That said, as we inch closer to winter here in Austin and with a few NYC trips planned in the weeks to come, I was so excited to scoop up a pair of Koolaburra by UGG boots! I grabbed a cozy blanket scarf, my go-to jacket and an ultra soft thermal to top off a casual, everyday (Texas) winter look. 😉
A big thank you to Koolaburra by UGG for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.

Sharing a seriously FABULOUS early Black Friday sale with y’all today! Looks like there are quite a few retailers getting a head start on this major sale day (check back first thing tomorrow with my full roundup!), but I couldn’t help but feel compelled to share –
Happy weekend, gals! There’s a new normal around here…and it involves that little dude, Watson! Being a first time puppy mom has pretty much flipped my world upside down (that is a very true statement…literally everything on the floor is now moved up high haha)…lack of sleep, minimal time with my computer tending to emails, serious mom guilt when I leave the house, a lot more dinners at home rather than leisurely restaurant visits…However: life at home feels so much more enriched, I am not taking things as seriously (…that email can hold off an hour or two!), I laugh at a ton (…puppies are SO adorable and hilarious!) and above all, our house feels so much more like a “lived in” home. Blake and I are so happy to have Watson in our little family!
Hey there friends! Pardon the radio silence over here – I spent the past week in Iceland working on a travel collaboration (can’t wait to share the full wrap-up in two weeks!), and thus, tending to blog content took a bit of a backseat. I am so happy to be home and settled back into my routine…coffee in bed, puppy cuddles, blog photo shoots…you know, the usual around here! Feeling so grateful for all of the travel opportunities this year has brought – and coming home to my husband and Watson makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Life is very sweet right now and I am counting every single blessing!

Happy Sunday, ladies! How is your weekend going? If you follow
Cooler temps, fall foliage, cozy layers and the perfect pair of waterproof boots! I don’t know about y’all, but I am welcoming both November and autumn with open arms and some new shoes… 😉 As I map out my fall travels (…Iceland and NYC next week, eek!), I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of wet weather boots to keep me warm, dry and allow for plenty of adventure & exploring. Though Austin climate is fairly tame, having a pair of rain boots handy is always a good idea – I’m excited to partner with Sperry and style a pair of their seriously AWESOME
Hey ladies – happy Halloween! I hope your week is off to a great start and you’re indulging in aaaall the candy today. 😉 Blake and I are excited to go trick or treating with my niece and nephew for a bit, then head home and pass out candy in our neighborhood…it’s our first Halloween in the new house…kind of a milestone, right? Ready to meet some more neighbors and see all the cute kiddos in their costumes – big day ahead!
Wahooooo! Excited to share over THIRTY of my latest IG posts – linked up and ready for you to shop! Grab a glass of wine and enjoy some fall #treatyoself shopping. 😉 Ps. I am reaaaaally going to try and do these IG roundups once a month moving forward! Happy Monday, XO.
Hey friends! How’s your week going? Things have been busy but good in my world – my best friend Elissa is still in town and so we’ve been spending tons of time together (yay!) and yesterday took my niece and nephew on a little play date to an inflatable jump gym. The place is HUGE and we were literally the only people there…soooo of course Liss and I kicked off our shoes and jumped around (and sweat a LOT…and realized we are old and our bodies aren’t as agile as they once were haha) for over an hour. It was sooo fun! I miss being a kid…so carefree and easy. Adulthood is weird, ha! Anyhoo, after stuffing our faces with concession stand treats (ice cream, Cheetos, candy, gatorade), Elissa and I were pretty much zombies while the kiddos danced to the Trolls soundtrack on the ride home. Needless to say, it was a great day – always so thankful for quality time with my family and friends…social media is cool and all, but it’s the real life stuff that matters!
