Hey ladies! Currently writing this post from the cutest little coffeehouse in Edinburgh, Scotland (the spot is called Brew Lab if you’re interested – it’s adorable!). Blake and I woke up early to soak up the final day of our European/UK getaway and we decided to get in some quality internet time this AM, ha! Seriously…we never appreciated having good internet access until it was basically nonexistent for the past two weeks…feels SO good to sip my cappuccino, eat a donut (ya know how vacay goes…gotta indulge!) and do some internet perusing. And of cooourse that led me to scope out what’s left in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Thus, sharing 15 items that I either own and loooove or currently have on my wish list once I return home. I don’t often rock an all black look, but this head to toe outfit is perfection for a night a live music and bar hopping in Austin! Chic cropped high rise jeans paired with a classic satin cami and fabulous mini bag…I am LOVING this combination! These jeans are so versatile and easy to dress up or down (go ultra casual with a cropped tee and sandal flats – or dress them up a la the combination in this post), and the best part? They’re under $65. Can’t recommend enough!

Travel Diary: Copenhagen & Oslo

Hey there friends! Excited to share a photo diary from the first two stops during our 12-day cruise through Scandinavia with Princess Cruises last month! (…Working on my Russia wrap-up tomorrow, so be sure and check back later this weekend!). This has been the year of travel for me and Blake, and we are so grateful to experience such wonderful cities and countries together…I feel like I am constantly pinching myself as I look back at our photo albums after each trip. Copenhagen has been on our radar for years and though we were only there for a day and a half, we completely fell in love with the city! Then came Oslo, Norway – which kind of blew me away and surprised me (in the best way!) because the mix of super old buildings and historical monuments (vikings, anyone?) next to ultra modern, sleek scandinavian cafes, apartments and shops is pretty surreal and quite a sight to see and experience. That’s the thing I love about Europe…the juxtaposition of new and old buildings on the same street…it’s pretty incredible and very special to be so close to history in that way.

Needless to say, these were two major cities that we were thrilled to visit! Sharing more photos and a list of recommendations if you’re headed that way…(ps: you can find our cruise itinerary here).

The Perfect Everyday Tote

If there’s one brand that continues to produce beautiful products season after season (…and that happen to be exactly my style!), it’s Brahmin. (See that gorgeous tote? Mhmm, that’s it!). Their new Southcoast collection is filled with soft leathers, classic silhouettes and functional purpose…I traveled to Barcelona with this same tote a few weeks back and I received SO many compliments! It’s definitely a great bag for both work and play (fits a laptop, camera…all my essentials!) – I can’t tell you how many people stopped me at the airport to ask for tote details, ha. My Favorite Activities On A Cruise Ship

If you haven’t noticed by now, we’re big fans of cruising! From our trip through the Mediterranean in June 2016, to our 12-day cruise through Scandinavia last month, let’s just say all our troubles float away when we step aboard that beautiful ship! From grabbing cocktails by the pool and trying out the delicious specialty restaurants, to watching movies under the stars on the top deck or penciling in gelato dates…our ship had plenty of entertainment and r&r options!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access!

It’s HERE! The public portion of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has finally arrived and oooh girls are the deals still ahh-mazing! (Public Access = you don’t have to have a Nordstrom card to shop the sale). Given that the “early access” week had items selling out quick, I scoured the rest of the sale to bring you THE best of the best. (Well…in my opinion, that is! 😉 ). Time to stock up on gorgeous jackets (moto, drape-front, leather – you name it, it’s in the sale and SO CUTE + affordable!), cozy sweaters, loungewear, jeans, shoes and of course, handbags. Cropped High Rise Denim in NYC

Open back crop-top, flared + high-rise denim, that view…thinking this is the recipe for a fabulous day in NYC! I never thought I could pull off a pair of denim like these, but I am SO in love with the fit and am excited to rock these from summer and into fall! (Just swap the sandals for a pair of slip-on mules or slides and pair with a slouchy sweater – complete with a front tuck and you’re cozy-chic + cool-weather-ready!).

The Perfect Summer Handbag

If there’s one accessory that I adore for summer, it’s a wicker handbag. There’s something about the texture and overall feel of a wicker bag that has such a classic, vintage vibe about it. The word “darling” is a pretty spot-on description for it if you ask me! Often when I am adding pieces to my wardrobe I’ll think about what items my grandmother would have loved (her taste was impeccable!), and this round rattan bag certainly would have her approval. (Oh, and did I mention it’s super affordable? Win/win!).
