Floral Print Halter Midi Dress

livvyland-blog-olivia-watson-austin-texas-fashion-blogger-astr-pink-floral-cutout-halter-sweetheart-maxi-dress-brahmin-duxbury-handbag-cava-6Hello there! How’s your week going? We are SO CLOSE to Friday…this week just seemed to zoom on by! (No complaints here, I have been anticipating a lazy Saturday since Monday..ha! 😉 ). Things have been crazy busy in my world this week – busy but good. 🙂 I am helping my sister get her Etsy store together at the moment, so that’s been a fun and different addition to my usual {hot mess of a} routine. She is a painter and beautiful artist, so we’ve been working to get some of her gorgeous prints up online so I can share her work with all of you! I’ve been such a big fan of her artwork (seriously…she is truly gifted..if you were to give me a pen and paper and ask me to draw anything, you’d quickly question how we’re related ha! Let’s just say I didn’t get that talent – like, at all!!). At the moment, all of the artwork you see in my photos (mainly Instagram) is by her – Blake and I joke that our apartment is basically a shrine to Kimberlee – ha!! Fine by me when it looks that good! I’ll tell you more about that later, super excited to share a big reveal post on my blog once we get everything set up on her Etsy store! Stay tuned for that. 🙂

More than ever, recently I’ve just been really drawn to super feminine and ladylike dresses – perhaps it’s that the spring season just seems so lovely – warmer weather, cheery flowers (tulips everywhere!), people just seem friendlier (…which I credit to the better weather, ha)…basically, it’s just a “happy” season all around. When I saw this dress, I instantly fell in with the unique cut, the ultra feminine bustline and the absolutely adorable floral print. …And I’m a sucker for anything pink…sooo there was that, too. 😉 This dress is under $100 and I’m wearing a size XS for reference.

This dress would be darling for a brunch date, evening date or if we’re getting reaaaaally sappy (and of course we are…it’s me, y’all! 😉 ) how stinkin’ cute would this be for a picnic in the park?!? Not sure if that actually happens anywhere but in my rom-com dreams, but if it does and you have one planned…please wear this dress, okay? 😉

I paired my dress with this gorgeous handbag by Brahmin (LOVE this brand – best handbags EVER and seriously, would be an amazing Mother’s Day gift…I got my mama a Brahmin last year and it’s one of her favorites…gift idea done & done!). I’m wearing my go-to nude strappy heels…these are under $100 and I promise you will wear them ALL the time. From jeans to dresses to skirts, you can’t go wrong pairing any of the above with chic nude heels. Finally, my cateye tortoise shell sunglasses…yes yes yes! I love these so much that I actually keep hardcore tabs on them, ha! As in, if I’m laying in bed and can’t remember where I put them, I will actually get up to make sure I know where they are…call me crazy, but they’re that cute! 😉

Hope y’all enjoyed today’s look! I linked to my full outfit below and feel free to scroll down just a tad further for more pretty floral picks I’m loving right now. XO!

You’re so sweet, thank you! I can’t wait to share her work with everyone! Also it’s been fun to get outside my usual fashion-only zone and have some fun with artwork/home decor, hoping to include more of that in the future! 🙂

Hope you have a wonderful weekend – as always, thanks for stopping by! XO
