Lilac Shift Dress

Hello there! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the first day of spring! 😉 It was sunny yet cool in Austin and Blake and I spent our morning cleaning (did some serious deep cleaning, felt so good to get rid of clutter around here) and then ventured to grab tacos (Torchy’s Tacos = has my heart) and ran some errands around town. Overall, it was a productive and calm day…couldn’t really ask for a better Sunday! After all of the SXSW madness that ended yesterday for me, it was a much needed change of pace and I am happy to be back to my old ways of being a hermit and in my pajamas by 8pm..ha!

All that said.. 😉 onto this cute outfit! I’ve been super into colorful and easy shift dresses (did you see my previous post below? Yep, I’ve got a type!) and I am loving how simple this cute dress is to throw on and go – and dress up or down (swap the booties for flat sandals, voila, perfect everyday look!). Though I went for the lilac (also just got the olive green in the mail, I liked this one so much!) this dress comes in a ton of color options and is under $35…which is amazing because this thing is adorable! It’s super soft and I love the length – not too short or too long. I paired it with my go-to taupe booties by Toms (true story: after selling a bunch of stuff to Plato’s Closet today (hooray for closet clean-out day!), I treated myself to these kicks in black!) and as you can see via my post below, these shoes are so versatile and will instantly become a staple in your wardrobe (err..well, at least they have been in mine, ha!).

Alrighty gals, I’ve got a big week ahead (fun collab coming to the blog tomorrow, woo!), my big shindig with LUNA Bar on Wednesday night (so excited!!) and will be celebrating turning 26-years-old on Thursday! Wishing you all a wonderful evening! XO
