I hope you all had a marvelous weekend and got to soak in some quality r&r time – or perhaps some time outside if your city is already in full-on spring mode like Austin! My weekend was pretty jam packed (what’s new?!) but Blake and I stepped away from the SXSW madness to do some home decor shopping on Saturday afternoon and OMG the apartment looks so beautiful and clean! Can’t wait to show y’all my new home office area (…it was time for a refresh in our abode) and a few other tidbits we picked up (very thankful for our last minute run through Home Goods!). Anyways, I’ll be posted a full blog about everything later, excited to share some photos!
As you know by now, spring has unofficially arrived in Austin, which means I’ve packed away my winter clothes and cleaned out my closet to make room for some new spring items. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I’m big on casual style – and having a go-to pair of jeans is a definite must in my wardrobe. These cute distressed skinnies are by KUT from the Kloth at Nordstrom and I am in LOVE! (I wore them last week in this post in case you want another outfit idea). Nordstrom is always my go-to for affordable, high quality denim (y’all, this pair is under $95! I’m often a 0 or 2, so I ordered a size down because they have a bit of stretch to them), and I especially love the killer selection of brands they carry. I was actually just talking to my mom this weekend about how I love shopping online through Nordstrom because the website is so easy to navigate (love the white clean, white space, too!) and they always show alternate options that fit the price point you’re searching – definitely very helpful when learning about all the jean brands they carry that run under $100 (…which is what I was going for!).
I paired the skinnies with THE cutest “cold shoulder” top by ASTR – wearing a small for reference. Is this pretty peasant top not gorgeous?! It comes in two colors, but I couldn’t help but gravitate towards the ultra feminine cream color (hey, can’t go wrong with a neutral color, too!). My shoes are the ‘Stecy’ heels by Steve Madden and for under $80 I assure you’ll get SO much wear out of the nude color and minimalist style. They’re a must-have, in my opinion! Super cute for Easter dresses, too (never too early to plan ahead 😉 ). My handbag is by Brahmin and I just scooped up a couple other handbag styles that they carry because I am obsessed with this one! (The rust color is such a perfect color pop with a neutral outfit). It’s such a a great color + size, and I truly stand behind Brahmin bags because they last forever!
Alright ladies, that’s a wrap! …Per usual, running behind to work (…one day I will be able to stay on top of things, right?!) so I’m off to quickly get ready and head out for the day. I hope this look gets you excited for spring styling (such a fun season!) – take a look at Nordstrom for your spring denim needs and shop the rest of my look below. Have a great day! XO
A big thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.
