I recently updated my Facebook cover photo to better reflect the spring/summer seasons…and as I was pulling images from my blog, I noticed there’s a certain pattern I seem to wear a lot of..stripes! From last week’s dress post (just $22 and so cute!) to this adorable backless striped tee post a few months back, it’s clear this print is here to stay…and I’m stickin’ to it!

Side-Slit Stripes

Anyone else have a serious affinity for stripes? I certainly do! And guess what…this fab high-slit tee is only $14! I am in loooove! Stripes, black high waist skinnies, these incredibly comfy and adorable Tom’s booties and a pop of color via my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, turquoise necklace and watch = yes, please, all day any day.

These Mint Clothing Co. joggers (now on sale) are my new go-to pants for a “comfort meets style” outfit. Fabulous with sneakers like these New Balance tennies, or equally as adorable dressed up with some nude heels and a chambray button up, these harem joggers are super versatile and perfect for a quick coffee run or lunch with your gal-pals. I mixed metals by wearing gold necklaces and a rose gold bracelet and watch, then topped off the look with a blush pink clutch to compliment the pastel blue chambray top.

Fashionable (& affordable!) Eyewear Featuring Firmoo

Are you a sucker for fashionable eyewear? I know I am! Luckily, I’ve discovered a brand that makes fabulous quality glasses that won’t deplete your bank account. Hoorah! Firmoo is a popular online-only retailer known for their low prices, fashion-forward styles and optical prescription offerings at no extra charge – pretty perfect if you ask me! Firmoo sent me these adorable black key-hole glasses with my prescription and I am in love! They are super light-weight, fit my face just right and have quickly become one of my favorite stylish accessories. (Not to mention the whole no-makeup-with-glasses-look is pretty great, too! 😉 )Whether I’m at home having a girls’ day in wearing my pj’s and painting my nails (see above…) or out and about wearing a cute outfit, I feel great when I wear these glasses – and I can see better, too! But hey, if you don’t need prescription lenses but still want a pair of glasses for fashion purposes, given the low price point they’re still a great option.

Another cool component to the Firmoo ordering process is that you can see what each pair of frames look like on different shaped faces or even upload a photo of your own, which I find really helpful when ordering online.

They’re a great size, can double as a cross-body bag and add that perfect boho touch to any outfit – I think I’ve just found my new favorite “it” bag! Since I’m on a thrifty kick this week (hey, you can’t really have buyers remorse when you find such a steal!), I’m showcasing multiple bucket bag options for you to shop – and the best part? Seriously, I love love love Forever21. I don’t care if walking into a store makes my head spin from too many options and clothing racks everywhere I turn…their stuff is cute and affordable! Ps. As we make our way into spring, I’m still clinging to my trusty plaid button down and fringe booties for as long as I can before we reach those deathly temperatures here in Texas! Luckily, one of my wardrobe stapes can shift from winter (layered up, of course) to spring to summer effortlessly – and that’s my Toggery Patch Pocket V-Neck Tee Shirt. I love a slouchy tee that withstands countless wears…because let’s be honest, who doesn’t wear their v-necks the most?! I’m not kidding when I say that I most certainly do. (Honestly, ask Blake..he’ll tell ya it’s the truth!).

If you saw my last post featuring Toggery Brand, you’ll know I’m a big fan of their latest collection. They produce those perfect basics that go with everything. Casual dresses, slouchy tees and simple razorback tanks – everything is minimalistic and with a casual yet classy-sexy vibe in my opinion. I totally love it! Festival Style – Free People Flowy Crop Top Cami

As warmer temperatures and festival season head our way, I’ll happily swap my long sleeve tee for a flowy crop top any day! And as we inch closer to the Free People SXSW party this Friday, I wanted to share another fun look featuring this Free People Swing Cami in Sandstone that will be available at the party pop-up shop. If you missed my last post featuring the FP Festival Days shindig info, you can check it out here – I’d love to see you at the party, so grab your besties and come have a beer with me!

First off, how lovely is this color? It’s such a beautiful nearly-neutral shade that could go with everything…even your go-to jean shorts (hello, comfort!). Second, the shoulder ties are adjustable, so you tie it to fit how you want – whether a little looser to show a strappy bralette peeking through, or a little tighter as I did. I also love the tassel details on the ties, they just add that special touch to top off an already oh-so-perfect cami.

I threw my hair in a topknot and accessorized with Joy Dravecky jewelry – my shorter necklace and those incredible earrings. I am completely enamored with her collection, and these pieces in particular – that pop of color from the earrings really compliments the earthy tones from my outfit. As I’ve mentioned before, I am a sucker for quality jewelry and this designer is everything.

My longer necklace is Kendra Scott and the watch is another oldie but a goodie, so I linked to a similar style watch below. As for the shoes? Hand-me-downs from my sister…she was kind enough to give those pretties up! I linked to another similar pair below, too.
