Slouchy Knit Sweater & Minnetonka Mocs
Happy Saturday, ladies! I hope you had a wonderful week and have something fun planned this weekend – whether that be meeting friends for coffee or relaxing at home, I hope you get to enjoy it! I’m excited to have dinner with a girlfriend tonight and tomorrow will be spending the day with my family (my nephew is turning one next week, ah! Where did the time go?!). Before the holiday madness begins, I’m doing my best to disconnect and be present with those around me. Come Black Friday y’all know I’ll be glued to my computer scoping out those holiday shopping deals, ha!
Until then, it’s fun to throw on a cozy, cute outfit and spend some time with old friends! As y’all know, I make sure whatever I’m wearing is comfortable when it comes to getting dressed everyday. It’s important for me to stick to the trends (that’s the fun part – hello slouchy sweater & those cute moccasins!), but I always keep comfort in the forefront of my mind. Perhaps it’s because I came from corporate life where I used to sit at a desk all day… and actually, I guess I’ve continued to do just that at my apartment or a coffeehouse even now, ha! That said, reaching for shoes that are super comfortable and ridiculously adorable is a definite DO for me! (…And should be for you, too! 😉 )

A big thank you to Minnetonka for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.

I don’t know about y’all, but I am a serious sucker for everything blush pink! Big fan of this trend – it’s just the perfect, feminine color! I think every week I bring more blush pink into our apartment…sorry Blake!! 😉 This
Happy Tuesday, friends! 🙂 Today is a good day because it’s absolutely stunning outside and I actually made time to go for a run and enjoy it (truly, it’s a Christmas miracle, ha!) – and also because I’ve been practicing my latte art skills (new espresso machine thanks to our lovely wedding guests) and there’s currently a lopsided foam heart staring me in the face…and it tastes delicious, too. I’ve got a TedTalk playing as I write this (it’s
Hello there! How was your weekend? Blake and I spent the past couple of days with friends from out of town and yesterday afternoon had the pleasure of attending a beautiful brunch wedding. I sort of fell in love with the “brunch wedding” concept…so much fun waking up and looking forward to a romantic occasion filled with mimosas, breakfast tacos and dancing by 2pm. The icing on the cake? I was asleep by 9pm, ha! I woke up today feeling so refreshed and happy that I was able to spend time with dear friends I love so much. Not to mention, weddings in general just make you feel good (and it was an outdoor event and Austin weather did not disappoint!), so it was a lovely escape from a weekend spent working (…as I normally do!). Thus, I am excited to start Monday on a high note and take on the day – I hope you’re feeling the same way, too!

Anyone else LOVING fall fashion? Between cozy layers and pretty earth tones, I think it may just be my favorite season to dress for! I am especially loving layering up an ultra soft and warm vest over a breezy long sleeve tee, and this combo by Supplies by
Hey there, gals! How’s your week going? I’m writing this post from Las Vegas (we’re here for Blake’s cousins’ co-bach/bachelorette trip) – truth be told, Blake is sound asleep next to me (it’s noon..ha!) …let’s just say in the Blake vs. Vegas match, Vegas is winning haha. Thus, I figured I should take this moment of peace and quiet to share a roundup my last trip to Newport, Rhode Island and NYC!
As y’all can tell, I am constantly gravitating towards casual, simple pieces that can be worn time and time again. That said, once the weather in Austin stops making us melt (ah!), it’s time for me to bust out one of my go-to fall looks: plaid flannel, skinny jeans & ankle booties!
Hey there gals – happy Monday! 🙂 I’m currently sitting in a coffeehouse in NYC – tending some emails, working on some photo edits and enjoying a yummy latte and chocolate croissant (my favorite!). I’m headed to the airport in about 30 minutes, but until then thought I could get this post up for y’all!
Happy weekend, gals! Hope you all had a wonderful week and get to enjoy a nice, relaxing weekend. 🙂 I made it to NYC yesterday and we’ve got a full day ahead…going to scope out Brooklyn and eat/drink our way through Manhattan…no complaints here, ha! Keeping it short and sweet today, but wanted to be sure and share this adorable dress with y’all – it’s budget friendly and SO soft and breezy. I also have it in olive green and couldn’t resist the pretty floral print, too! (Ps. Would be so cute with
