Knot Front Romper

Ohh that perfect yellow color…how stinkin’ cute is this for summer?! I love the updated take on a classic romper – that knot-front is adorable and the ruffle trim adds such a flirty vibe. I don’t feature “occasion” looks that often, but when I spotted this romper I knew it would be such a fun look for anything from a date night to a bright and airy wedding guest outfit. Spilling all the details below!

My romper is from River Island and comes in 8 color options (…it was a tough call between the printed yellow and the blush for me!). It’s super breezy, shows some serious leg action (…but keeps it classy 😉 ) and above all, is SO flattering! The waistline is actually elastic, so it’s really comfortable and gives you plenty of breath room, too. River Island has so many cute rompers, dresses and accessories (check out their New Arrivals tab for all the latest pieces!) and I love that their brand is all about embracing bright colors. Generally I’m a sucker for neutrals, but it’s fun to branch out and scoop up something that makes me feel a little sassy! (For size reference, I’m wearing a US4/UK8).

Speaking of occasion outfits, I would totally wear this outfit to a summer wedding! You can dance, you can eat, you can drink, you can feel extra pretty in it…what’s not to love?! Ps. Did you see the white sandals I’m holding in the second-to-last image above? I couldn’t resist those for a “change of shoes” option after a night on my feet… also they look super cute with denim shorts and a go-to tee. Big fan!

Do you have any summer occasions to dress for these next couple of months? …This would also be really fun for a dinner date outfit (no lie, Blake and I stick to our neighborhood favorites buuut if we ever decided to dine somewhere trendy, this would definitely be a solid outfit choice haha).
