Work To Play: Wrap Dress

What’s the most flattering (and comfortable) dress silhouette? 100% the wrap dress. When I was getting married and I had bridesmaids of all beautiful shapes and sizes, wrap dresses were the one style that worked for every body type. Wrap dresses are timeless, classy and show off the waistline – something I LOVE when getting dressed! (…Note how I am always wearing high rise jeans haha…there’s a reason for that!). As we make our way into wedding season, company work parties (Blake always has a summer shindig) and date nights spent on the patio…there’s one go-to look that’s certain to make you feel and look your best!
Y’all have seen me post a lot about Sézane and this dress is from their spring collection (it comes in more colors, too). As always, they take the cake when it comes to feminine and flirty styles in the most beautiful prints. I’ve been professing my love for poppy red lately and this color is giving me all the happy feels! I am wearing a US2 in this dress and I wear a US4 in their tops.

My shoes are SO comfortable and the perfect height! They’re by Seychelles (been a major fan of this brand for YEARS!) and these would also look amazing with a relaxed v-neck tee and some skinny jeans for a more casual outfit idea.

Alrighty friends, I am keeping today short and sweet because I am going to muster all my strength to finish up my Japan travel diary post by this afternoon! I keep stopping and starting on that one because looking back at all photos and reminiscing makes me feel sad haha…! Sign of a good trip, right?
