Dreamy Knit
The color combo that’s always in style: black & white. In 2017 one of my small wardrobe goals was to incorporate more black pieces into my outfits…and I am excited to say that by late December I finally feel comfortable in (and actually gravitate towards) it when getting dressed these days! (…Which is a big deal considering my serious obsession with tan everything!).
So what’s a pretty, classic piece to pair with black high rise, crop-flare denim? A gorgeous sweater that you can wear time and time again. (…And yes, this one is as soft as it looks!). When I think of investing in quality pieces that will be in style forever, a beautiful ivory sweater is a definite staple. This one is from Urban Outfitters (…can you tell I’m a major fan of their sweaters?) and it comes in both cream and a beautiful olive green color (it was a tough call, that one is so perfect, too!). I’m wearing size small – can’t recommend enough! If you’re on the hunt for a pretty neutral sweater that’s flattering and feminine, then this one is for you. I’ve been super into crop flare jeans lately and after ordering about a dozen pairs and sending all but one back, I am excited to say that this Rag & Bone pair is truly fabulous! It’s tough to find cropped denim I don’t have to alter (…I’m 5’6) and this pair definitely made the cut! I love how flattering the rise is (perfect for tucking in blouses) and they look great with heels, too – big fan over here!
Lastly, my shoes were a combination of store credit and a major “treat yourself” moment…but I gotta say, I am SO in love with these gorgeous loafers! They’ve been on my wish list for about a year now…finally pulled the trigger last week. #noregrets right? 😉
