Holiday Party Ready

I know I know…we haven’t even reached Christmas yet and I am about to bring up New Years Eve…! BUT hear me out… Isn’t it always SO relieving to plan ahead and not be scrounging for something to wear? (…It’s also relieving not to make your house a total mess while doing so haha…I am definitely guilty of emptying my closet and shouting “I have nothing to wear!” five minutes before we have to leave…). Thus, to avoid a stressful “what should I wear?!” situation, I’ve got you covered with a classy outfit option (and a few more at the end of this post) featuring THE prettiest blush jumpsuit (…swoon!!) and a fabulous leather moto jacket. Let’s get to it!
I’ve been a big River Island fan for a while (I was first introduced to the brand while scrolling through ASOS) and when thinking of a brand that is perfect for holiday parties and special occasions (that won’t break the bank, yay!) River Island is SO wonderful. Heads up: I was mulling over about 10 things in my shopping cart and after a few days realized a lot had sold out! Thus, if you’re considering whether or not to scoop something up, I recommend snagging it asap because things tend to move quickly!

Luckily, this jumpsuit (that comes in 15 color/print options!!) remained available in all sizes and I am completely in LOVE with it. You can never go wrong with a tailored jumpsuit, and the fit on this one is absolutely perfect. For reference, I am wearing a UK8 and I’m 5’6 in height (and didn’t need to have it altered in length!).

My leather jacket is also River Island and ohhh my goodness this thing is truly a beauty! One of those timeless pieces that I’ll be wearing for years to come. Love the patchwork and zipper details – this is a total showstopper and SO great from day to night. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worn a leather jacket over a cocktail dress or with black joggers and a silky cami to top off an evening look (…especially when it’s cold out)… big fan of wearing this style jacket with any and everything!
