Spreading Holiday Cheer

As we inch closer to December, I’m getting a head start on my holiday gifting list! Between my family (…baby of five siblings over here…aka, lots of people to shop for!) and Blake’s giant fam…we have our work cut out for us when it comes to finding those perfect gifts for our family and friends. Starting early is a good way for me to stay composed (…anyone else tend to get stressed out during the holiday season?) and be extra thoughtful about what to scoop up for each person. My happy place for this activity is sipping a hot chai latte and perusing some of my favorite sites…which is where ModCloth saves the day when it comes to cute, quirky and fun gift ideas!

My sister has two small kiddos and without a doubt, her style is simple and always cozy during these colder months. That beanie (…which is lined inside and SO warm, just $25) and blanket scarf combo will be the gift that keeps on giving…I can assure you she will wear them ALL the time…running to and from my nieces school, a quick coffee run through the Starbucks drive-thru…you get what I mean…picking out pieces that are both practical and cute is always a big DO in my book!
