A cold front hit Austin this morning and ohhh my goodness I could not be more grateful! I went for a long walk this morning to clear my head and soak up the gorgeous, crisp weather and felt revived as soon as I got home. Nothing like a true season change to bring some positive juju and make me feel inspired and motivated. I hope y’all are having a great start to your week, too!

One of my favorite color combinations at the moment is black and tan. I know I know, 2016 Olivia would have been terrified to wear so much black (always been my constant struggle!), but 2017 Olivia has finally gotten into a rhythm of incorporating more black pieces…and I must admit, I am LOVING it! Chic and timeless, you can’t go wrong investing in black staples to build your wardrobe. Aaand speaking of fall staples: this ultra cozy cashmere sweater (under $100!).

Happy weekend, loves! Any big plans on the agenda? Blake and I celebrated his cousin’s 50th birthday with a giant shindig last night and we had so much fun! It was “decade” themed – so guests wore costumes from any decade between the 70s-90s…everyone got decked out! Blake went as 1970s John McEnroe and I dressed as 70s tennis pro Chrissie Evert…wigs, sweatbands, tube socks…we went full-on major dork mode (…the best!). Anyhoo, it’s currently 6pm and I am still recovering from my hangover (…if that’s any indication of a reaaaally solid night haha) and sore from all the dancing! Blake literally had to drag me off the dance floor and to our car…get some tequila in me and apparently I go from calm granny to crazy party girl…ha!

Happy first day of October! Hope y’all are soaking up some lovely weather (it is absolutely stunning today in Austin!) and relaxing this weekend. After a crazy few weeks of travel (Amsterdam, Iceland, New York & Los Angeles…wowza!), I am so thankful to be home and resting. I had an absolute blast visiting friends and creating some amazing memories, but I can definitely tell my body needs some sleep and lounge time without an agenda. Thus, this weekend was spent being a complete couch potato and I have zero complaints about it! 😉
