The Perfect Fall Floral Dress (40% Off!)

Happy Saturday, friends! Hope your weekend is off to a great start. 🙂 Blake and I are enjoying ACL festival this weekend (Jay-Z killed it last night!) and excited to take on day two today. I am a granny so am only going Friday/Saturday…can’t hang like I used to…ha! This year has been particularly special for a couple of reasons…reason one is that I’m partnering with TicketCity for the fest and living the VIP life (first time for me…free food + drinks/swag bags, beauty stations (how cool is that?!) and lots of shade and air conditioning…no complaints here! 😉 Reason two is that I’ve realized I’m not quite the festival gal I thought I was and am now hanging with the parents that bring lawn chairs and sit waaaay in the back haha. It was 8pm last night and I legit thought it was 11pm…who have I become?! I watched all the college kids dancing their butts off to DJ sets (glitter in their hair, on their faces) and I slowly but surely came to terms with the fact that I am getting older…and I fully embrace it. I got home completely sober and watched an episode of RHONY (current guilty pleasure). ACL by day, sweatpants and fully hydrated + catching up on my shows by night…life is good at age 27!

Aaand now for my outfit details! Y’ALL. My Free People dress is currently 40% off!!! I am wearing size 2 (could have gone with a 0, I think it fits a tad big…or maybe I just have no chest action to fill it? Haha very easily could be the case!) and I loooove this gorgeous marsala color with the floral print. It’s a perfect dress for summer and into fall, just pair with a cute denim jacket (mine is…you guessed it, Madewell) and some mule booties for a more fall appropriate outfit. I think this particular color would be super cute with an olive utility or bomber jacket, too…love pairing aaaall the earth tones together! (Ps. My dress also comes in white in case you’re looking for a neutral option…).

My handbag is a newbie from Madewell – I debated between the black or tan version for about 30 minutes while visiting the store (I was that crazy lady sitting on the floor staring longingly from one handbag to the other in deep thought haha!)…they are both SO gorgeous, it was a tough decision. Ultimately, the tan pulled at my heartstrings more and I am pretty darn in love it. Brandon (my photographer) even commented on how much he liked the bag…which is big, ha!
