Orange & Pink Halter Dress

Hey gals! How’s your week going? It’s been a busy one in our abode (y’all…this place if finally coming together, ha! Phewwww…furnishing a house is no joke!) and I am very much looking forward to the weekend. We’ve got zero plans and that is exactly how I hope it stays haha. Perhaps Blake and I can sneak away from yard work and indoor plant shopping (…#adulting?) for a cocktail on some cute restaurant patio…and bonus points if I can rock this adorable dress and handbag combo!
My dress is by Hutch from Anthropologie – how cute is this color combo? So fun for summer! I am often in between a 0 or 2 in dresses and decided to go with the 0 given that it’s supposed to be a fitted dress – and it fits beautifully! Very flattering and the top is double lined, so you can wear a standard strapless bra with it. This would be such a perfect ‘occasion dress’ for anything from wedding guest attire (or a rehearsal dinner), to a bridal or baby shower outfit. Love how bright and airy it is! If you’re not a pink/orange kinda gal, it also comes in a blue color combo.

Did you catch that precious handbag? Gah, I am in LOVE! I am a sucker for mini bags, and when I saw this beautiful bag with a bamboo handle (…such a darling summery detail!) in that fun orange color, I knew it would make for a fabulous color pop in my wardrobe. It’s by La Canadienne, a beautiful leather goods company known for their fabulous shoes and handbags (…and this one is no exception!).

Lastly, my shoes are my good ‘ol reliable pair of nude Steve Madden strappy heels…seriously can’t recommend these enough!! I wear them constantly to so many occasions (…and with dresses, jeans, skirts…you name it).
