Dusty Pink Cardigan & Ankle Booties

Happy Sunday, ladies! I hope you’ve had a wonderful, relaxing weekend thus far! We’re still in Mexico but headed home this evening…I thought I’d squeeze in a blog post while Blake is still sleeping…coffee in hand and a view of palm trees swaying in the breeze from our balcony. No complaints here! 😉 Though I’ve been in “warm weather mode” this weekend, I’ve been told it’s quite cold back in Austin…thus as soon as we touch down tonight, it’s goodbye cutoff shorts and hello cozy knits, jeans and ankle booties!

Y’all have seen me wear this cozy cardigan a ton over on my Instagram feed – the color is so gorgeous and this thing is SO soft and perfect for layering!! (And it’s budget friendly, just $65). I wore it over my go-to thermal long sleeve tee by Free People (…I also own this one in olive green, can’t get enough! Psst..it’s on sale for 30% off right now!) and paired it with my favorite DL1961 skinny jeans (also on sale right now, wahoo!). I’m wearing a size XS in both the thermal top & cardigan, the jeans fit TTS.

My ankle booties have become a wardrobe staple this season and they’re not going away any time soon! 😉 These pretties are from Nordstrom and they’re the perfect fall-to-winter ankle booties. I love how Nordstrom carries so many ankle bootie styles, I am super picky when it comes to shopping (of course!), so having an amazing selection of shoes to choose from always makes my shopping experience easier and more enjoyable…and oftentimes tough to narrow down, ha! These are by Treasure & Bond and they’re the Sand Suede color for reference – they fit TTS and truly, you will wear them ALL the time (with skirts, dresses, leggings and longer tunic tops…you name it, they go with everything!). I’ve actually got the chestnut color in my shopping cart now…creature of habit over here haha, but hey, when you find something you really like, might as well stock up in all the colors! 😉

You can never go wrong layering up cozy essentials in your wardrobe, it makes for a super cute and veeery comfy outfit which I am always on board with!
