Bridal Lingerie with Nordstrom

Hi there gals! Can’t believe we’ve already hit spring this year…which also means: wedding season is quickly approaching! Whether you’re the bride-to-be or you’re the one attending the showers and events leading up the big day, I’m partnering with Nordstrom to talk about their bridal lingerie selection! (Because let’s be honest….lingerie showers are pretty darn fun, especially when giving or receiving pretty little things like the ones I picked out above).

One of my best friends got married a few months back (my blogger galpal, Lauren Vandiver) and I really wanted to find her something timeless and classy for her lingerie shower. Let’s just say there’s a lot of fun and wacky stuff out there (ha!) buuuut not exactly something I’d like to hand off to her with her grandmother and mom sitting a few feet away. (But hey, that’s just me! I’ll let her other friends take the lead on the funny, outrageous stuff.. 😉 ). Nordstrom is always reliable when it comes to classic, high quality pieces and I actually found her the prettiest two piece peach silk shorts and dainty top combo within my price point (under $100) and she LOVED it! It’s no longer available, but it looked very similar to the second two-piece set from the right in my collage above, which is also something she can wear while she gets ready at her vanity area or can be worn as super soft (and seriously adorable) sleepwear. Thus, I like the idea of giving or receiving lingerie that also has some practicality to it!

Though I’m all for sexy, playful lingerie – I am admittedly a little more modest when it comes to this stuff and often gravitate towards the ultra feminine, dainty lingerie sets. (Not to mention I definitely would not be able to keep a straight face with Blake wearing anything outrageous haha! Although super fun, I think we’d both die laughing..!). However, something like that open back romper?! SO gorgeous and can be worn time and time again! Whether you’re into statement lingerie or like to keep it simple and sweet, Nordstrom has a huge range of brands that carry anything from garter belts to silk maxi night gowns (very old Hollywood glamour) and anything in between.

Oh! I also saw some scented lingerie wash and bags to wash delicates in while perusing the Nordstrom website, and those are very welcomed gifts too! (…Because I’m pretty sure you can’t just throw these silky sets in with your load of towels, ha).
