Plum Off The Shoulder Top

I hope you’ve all had an incredible long weekend! Let’s just say Blake and I definitely indulged over the past few days. Way too much beer, good brunch in downtown Austin, long naps (ahh makes me miss my “nap time” in college, ha!), lazy movie nights in…yada yada, needless to say it was a weekend well spent with an abundance of much needed relaxation! Ps. We watched Still Alice last night and let’s just say I cried SO much that my face is officially “sad puffy” this morning…ha! Such a good movie, Julianne Moore is phenomenal…it’s definitely one to watch with a tub of ice cream in hand…or bottle of wine to drown your sorrows…ha!

Okay okay, now onto this look! 😉

I think I’ve officially found my favorite color when it comes to tops…this plum/wine colored off the shoulder number is pure adorable-ness! What a rich, beautiful color to take a wardrobe from summer to fall, just add a green or khaki jacket and swap the wedges for booties and this look is fall-worthy in a heartbeat! Given that it was (y’all I’m not even kidding…if you follow me on snapchat, you’ll have seen that when I shot this look it was 100 degrees out!!!), let’s just say I’m sticking to those staples that can seamlessly transition to the next season…but for now, those overcoats will definitely have to wait!

This top is by Socialite at Nordstrom and comes in a ton of other colors, and it’s just $38! Not too shabby! My jeans are the “Leigh skinny jeans” by Topshop and they are fab-u-lous! I get complimented on these all the time and they were such an affordable price point for a staple pair of denim. The wedges are my nudie go-to’s, can never go wrong with a pretty neutral color, same with my clutch, seriously loving this thing by Sole Society! The killer cat-eye sunnies are by Toms, and I love them so much let’s just say you often have to pry them off of me…ha!

As for jewelry, I’m rocking black Kendra Scott arrowhead earrings (another versatile pick you can’t go wrong with from season to season), my drusy double ring, Alex & Ani initial bangle bracelet, and Daniel Wellington watch (it’s SO cute…just scooped it up and I am in love!).
