Happy weekend, friends! The weather this week could not be more beautiful, thus, we’re excited to spend some quality time outside! Looking forward to a coffee (and breakfast taco) run, tending to a few errands around town and a hangout sesh with our families. Excited to take this weekend to relax and spend time with those we love. 🙂 Always a wonderful way to recenter and refresh before another week ahead!
Soo…what does one wear to do such things? The most comfortable and caaa-uuute outfit, of course! I never waiver when it comes to prioritizing comfort above all else, and lemme tell ya – these checkered slip-on kicks are not only REALLY comfy (no seriously, they’re awesome), but can we just talk about how fun they are?! When it comes to keeping my hair fresh between salon visits, I’m a major advocate for purple shampoos and conditioners because my natural tone tends to gravitate towards the brassy/yellow-orange color. Hi gals, how’s your week going? Mine is movin’ along just fine – productive but relaxed…imagine that for me? I am normally a giant ball of stress by the middle of the month, but I’ve been making a point to keep repeating the word “balance” in my head throughout the day so that I don’t allow myself to get overwhelmed. Truth be told, it’s been helping me a TON! Also helps to prioritize my schedule and then nix the rest…I’ve even been shutting my laptop by the time Blake gets home from work. I feel healthy, more present and above all, happy. Hoping I can turn this new mantra into a lifestyle. I am understanding more and more just how important work/life balance is!
