They’re timeless, classy, easy to style (front-tuck into jeans or full-tuck into shorts with a tan leather belt) and always have that effortlessly pulled together feel. Aaaand my love for overalls (…er, “shortalls”..) continues with this stinkin’ adorable black pair. I didn’t know I could love a 90s trend so much in 2017, but seriously, I never want to take these off. When this pair arrived in the mail last week, I am not even joking when I tell you that I wore these overalls three days in a row. They are SO. COMFY. You can rock them with flats, sneakers, sandals…you name it, they look awesome and just bring out the happy vibes! My sister and I did a little shopping on Second Street last week and stopped into Jo’s Coffeehouse for a yummy Iced Turbo on the patio (hazelnut, iced coffee, sweetened milk…mouth watering as I type this haha), I brought my camera along and she rocked at snapping some outfit pics while we cooled off!

Happy Wednesday, friends! As we inch closer to summer, the heat in Austin is calling for cutoff shorts and breezy tops! I am such a fan of denim shorts of all kinds: high rise, low rise, tight, loose…you name it, I probably have it sitting in my dresser drawer or in my shopping cart. Whether you’re meeting friends for coffee or running errands on the weekend, you can’t go wrong investing in a gorgeous pair of denim shorts!
Ohh the dreaded Tuesday following a holiday weekend…I am absolutely feeling that dark cloud looming over my head! I am on my second coffee of the day, been jamming new Miley quite loudly (…perks of a house, no one bangs on the wall for me to shut up haha!) and am desperately trying to shake this wonky feeling that won’t seem to go away. I’ve got an inbox filled with to-do’s (…maybe if I don’t open them, they’ll just disappear…isn’t that how it works? 😉 ), a sink filled with dishes and lots of content to prep (hooray June posts – I’ve got some fun stuff in the works! …Just need to get to it, ah!). Alas, I reach for my laptop, close out my emails and get started in writing this blog post…my therapy!
