Levi’s 501 Jeans

A big trend this year and as we look ahead to 2018 is 100% cotton, no stretch denim. I say this often, but even with an overflowing jeans drawer, I tend to reach for the same two pairs of jeans (the ones in this post and these). While I love good pair of low-rise, extra stretchy skinnies for everyday running around, definitely the most flattering pair of denim I own are my Levi’s 501 skinny jeans. High rise, no stretch, classic denim – they really are the best! (…I’ve even noticed Blake tends to comment more on an outfit if I have these on, ha!).

Introducing perhaps THE cutest gift idea I’ve ever come across…it’s called “Coffee & a Classic” by
I know I know…we haven’t even reached Christmas yet and I am about to bring up New Years Eve…! BUT hear me out… Isn’t it always SO relieving to plan ahead and not be scrounging for something to wear? (…It’s also relieving not to make your house a total mess while doing so haha…I am definitely guilty of emptying my closet and shouting “I have nothing to wear!” five minutes before we have to leave…). Thus, to avoid a stressful “what should I wear?!” situation, I’ve got you covered with a classy outfit option (and a few more at the end of this post) featuring THE prettiest blush jumpsuit (…swoon!!) and a fabulous leather moto jacket. Let’s get to it!
Oh goodness…not sure I could be more excited to partner with
Happy weekend, friends! I hope y’all had a wonderful week…between traveling, finishing up a few collaborations and spending some time brainstorming future LL posts (lots of good stuff in the works!!), I am looking forward to spending quality time with Blake and just enjoy being home! Saturday mornings are my favorite…hot coffee, pajamas, Watson cuddles…always good stuff to wake up to. We are also hoping to finish up our gallery wall in the family room this weekend – just need a few more frames and we should be good to go! Excited to share more home decor posts in 2018. 🙂
I am thrilled to shed some spotlight on a brand that is sort of blowing my mind with just how comfortable EVERY single item is…from activewear to jeans, sweaters, pullovers and a whole lot more…
Hello there! How’s your week going? I’ve been a busy bee in New York City for the last five days…it was a whirlwind but SO fun! NYC during the holidays truly is as magical as it looks in the movies (…clearly I had high expectations over here, ha) and it was quite incredible to experience. Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue window displays (swoon!), Union Square holiday market, sipping hot chocolate all bundled up in coats and scarves…yep, definitely not my typical Texas winter and I enjoyed every second. Aaaand as sad as I am to leave my best friends and the fabulous NYC energy, I am very much looking forward to some hubby and Watson cuddles asap when I get back to Austin!
Hey ladies – how’s your week going? It’s been a whirlwind over here…can’t believe it’s already Thursday! Today Blake and I are headed to NYC for a few days with the Home Depot team – they’re partnering with Domino Magazine to host a pop-up shop opening in Soho…we are so excited to meet the HD team and enjoy the event! Will feel kind of weird to be without Watson for so long (…he’s in good hands, his grandma is watching him), we’ve both become so used to having a puppy by our feet at all times haha. However, we’re excited to enjoy a short and sweet getaway for just the two of us! Feel free to follow along over on my Instagram and IG stories this week…should be a fun one!

When Austin weather decides to go from winter to warmer temps within a day (gah! The struggle to get dressed each day, ha), reaching for a soft tee and an ultra cozy cardigan is always a good idea. Y’all know I’m a sucker for a casual look you can wear all day, everyday – and this outfit is no exception! I am not normally one to go for the orange color option (this cardigan also comes in a white), but given my city (and alma mater), I figured a little burnt orange was a solid color to add to my cardigan assortment…and I gotta say, I’m definitely into it!
