My Favorite Body-Con Dress
Oh ya know, just strutting in the middle of a parking lot to show y’all an outfit…typical day in the life over here! 😉 Since becoming pregnant, I feel like I have really expanded my blue jean horizons and even stepped out of my style comfort zone…insert: A DRESS. I don’t really know why, but over time I basically just stopped wearing dresses…even though they’re comfortable and make me feel great! I think I’d forgotten just how nice it is not to wear pants…ha! Anyhoo…this body-con dress is non-maternity and I’ve scooped it up in three colors already. It’s flattering, extremely comfy and something you can wear before, during and after pregnancy (…and lemme tell ya, those pieces are hard to come by and become wardrobe life savers!!).
Being pregnant, I’ve definitely put on a healthy amount of weight gain all over my body. My chest has grown, my thighs, butt, arms, chin…you name it, it has expanded and while it’s been a big source of insecurity over the last few months, I have officially embraced this new body and am choosing to wear pieces that make me feel really good. Which brings to me why I have purchased three of the same dress (in grey, black and this fun “brown spice” color)… it’s not everyday you find a dress that hugs all the right places and covers all the right places, too, ha! This dress is by Leith and it’s just $59!! It’s SO easy to dress up or down…pair with heels and a leather jacket for an evening look (I’d go with the black color for that), or swap to ankle booties and a fedora hat for an easy weekend outfit idea. I wear size small, both pregnant and non-pregnant for reference.
My booties are old but I am linking to a few similar options below. That gorgeous handbag is the Chloe Marcie  (size medium) and I found it nearly brand new for sale on Poshmark! I was just a click away from buying it full price at Nordstrom when I thought to check a couple of resale shops…it was fate that their was one left in my favorite color! It’s a splurge, but man…it’s GORGEOUS and really roomy, too. #noregrets
What are y’all up to this weekend? My head is still spinning from completing our baby registry yesterday (omg never have I ever wished I could have a glass of wine more than after a 3-hour trip to Buy Buy Baby, ha!) buuut we made SO MUCH progress that I’m finally feeling relieved in that section of my life. Next on the list: put the nursery together! Very much looking forward to sitting outside on our patio, pups playing in the yard, hot coffee in hand and doing some nursery inspo pinning via Pinterest (my actual happy place these days). Hope y’all have a great one! XO

I have this dress too! The sleeveless version. The xs is a little loose on me but still looks good. I love it as a maternity dress.
Your bump is too cute!
