Tomorrow is the first day that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goes public to non-card holders, so I wanted to be sure and spotlight one of my very favorite parts of the sale…the SHOES! From Tory Burch to Sam Edelman to Steve Madden, this sale has it ALL for crazy low prices – and it won’t last long (seriously, items have been selling out like crazy!!) so be sure to scoop up that perfect pair of OTK boots or ankle booties for fall…the popular sizes go first! I hope your week is going well and if you’re in Austin, that you’re staying nice and dry – we had some serious rain these past few days! Last night the thunder was so loud that I actually woke up and scooted closer to Blake, ha! …Felt like I was a kid again in need of protection. So funny now that I’m not half asleep and can think clearly about it. Aside from me acting like a big baby during the storm (lolz), I wanted to update you all on the pre-SXSW panel I spoke in on Monday night…the good news? I survived public speaking! 😉

I received the black fringe cardigan from Macys and the amazing gold fringe necklace by Stella & Dot (as seen above) as gifts from my mom this Christmas and I cannot stop wearing/obsessing over them! Fringe is definitely in and it’s still popping up everywhere I turn…and I’m not complaining! I love how simply adding a touch of fringe can make an item go from cute (but fairly ordinary) to bohemian and a little edgy. I don’t know about you, but I’d certainly stop someone who was wearing any of these items and ask where they bought it!
