Holiday Maternity Style

Hello, third trimester! Me oh my things are different around here…ha! Not only has our little guy increased in size (my pregnancy app compared him to the size of an acorn squash this week), but my body has been hard at work and changing daily…not to mention, dressing a big ‘ol bump has been more fun than ever. I used to be able to hide the bump (not intentionally, it just wasn’t quite as prominent in clothing) even just two weeks ago if I wore an oversize tee and leggings…but alas, those days are long gone and thus, I’m ready to display this belly proudly! With the holidays and baby showers fast approaching (I wore this adorable striped dress to my first shower last weekend!) and anything occasion where you’ll want to look and feel pulled together, I’ve been looking to Motherhood Maternity for aaaall my pregnancy outfits! I’ll admit, when I first found out I was pregnant, I went into a bit of a panic thinking how I could maintain my sense of style within my blog content with a bowling ball attached to my body. Over time and after a TON of trial and error, I feel like I’ve finally figured out maternity clothing that still feels “me” but that also does not incorporate high waist denim belted with a striped tee, ha! Instead, I’m still wearing my stripes, but I’ve found my niche when it comes to comfortable outfits (which when you’re pregnant, is an absolute #1 MUST) that also could take you from a meeting at work, to a holiday party and anything in between. I have never really been one to wear form fitting bodycon dresses, but being pregnant is a whole new ball game. It’s been a fun surprise for me to rock this bump proudly, and I honestly love wearing clothing that shows off this new body! (Bump, boobs, butt…never have I ever had curves like these…ha!).

I scooped up two sweaters to pair with leggings and booties (this one and this one) and also got this darling babydoll dress to wear to Blake’s company party in a few weeks (I wear size small in tops/dresses).
