But also kind of serious…like…what?! This week Blake and I had the pleasure of visiting the Blarney Castle in Ireland for the second the time within a year (which is something we certainly thought we’d never get to do!) – and it also made for a perfect excuse to soak up the crisp 60 degree weather and layer up with one of my favorite pullovers! Y’all know I am obsessed (is that too weak a word to describe my affinity for Patagonia?) with Patagonia and Backcountry…and today I’m excited to share an outfit that’s extra warm and cozy…AND a 15% off site-wide at Backcountry code for LL readers!!

livvyland-blog-olivia-watson-austin-texas-fashion-lifestyle-travel-blogger-patagonia-retro-pile-fleece-pullover-backcountry-outfit-blarney-castle-cork-ireland-1I think half of my closet is officially filled with Patagonia sweatshirts and vests from Backcountry…they’re hands down my go-to retailer for everything outdoors-y… from warm fleece sweaters, to yoga pants to AMAZING weatherproof booties that are also super adorable (you need these Sorel boots in your life – they’re incredible!!), they’ve got it ALL.

As for sizing, I tend to size up when it comes to Patagonia pullovers because I always like to layer underneath. I’m wearing a size medium in this one and generally order a medium in all of their sweatshirts. (However I also own this down jacket and for some reason the XS fits best…not sure why buuut that’s just how it works for me!). My jeans are maternity, so I am linking to the non-maternity style also by DL1961…which is very quickly becoming one of my favorite maternity and not maternity denim brands…worth the price tag because they last forever!! Finally, I ordered the Sorel booties true to size but after walking around all day am thinking perhaps going up a half size would have been best… Not sure if it’s the pregnancy swelling or if they run a tad small, but definitely read the reviews on these! Aside from that, they’re amazing and I got compliments all over town wearing these – highly recommend for the winter and rainy seasons ahead! They’d also be cute with wool socks bunched at the ankles with leggings and a dress for fall…so many possibilities… 😉

Ps. My beanie is by my favorite hat brand, Brixton, and it comes in a TON of color options. Blake and I have been wearing both the burgundy and forest green while on our trip…love that they’re unisex!

Backcountry is very kindly is offering 15% to LL readers with code LIVVY15 at checkout (for one-time use only!)…get ready to scoop up your favorite pullovers, booties, denim, hats…you name it…they’ve got it! Enjoy, friends!! XO
