Hey there friends! Pardon the radio silence over here – I spent the past week in Iceland working on a travel collaboration (can’t wait to share the full wrap-up in two weeks!), and thus, tending to blog content took a bit of a backseat. I am so happy to be home and settled back into my routine…coffee in bed, puppy cuddles, blog photo shoots…you know, the usual around here! Feeling so grateful for all of the travel opportunities this year has brought – and coming home to my husband and Watson makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Life is very sweet right now and I am counting every single blessing!

On a non-sappy note (…as I’ve mentioned before, I’m never one for a smooth transition, ha!), it’s been a while since I’ve shared an outfit post, and today I’m excited to give y’all the scoop on the cutest rust colored, bell sleeve sweater (budget friendly, yayyy!) paired with black accessories. Happy Sunday, ladies! How is your weekend going? If you follow me on Instagram, you may know that yesterday was a BIG day for me and Blake…we got a dog!!! His name is Watson and he’s an 8 week old Aussie Labradoodle…and we are so in love! We have been patiently waiting for him to be ours (…that’s the “big news” I’ve hinted at in my recent posts), and we were finally able to bring him home and join our little family. (Psst…here’s a glimpse at the sweet angel in case you want to see!).

In other news, cozy mornings at home have always been big in our abode…and now with a pup in tow, enjoying time at home is even more important! While most of the time I am admittedly wearing a mismatching oversized tee and sweatpants that I have likely had since high school (attachment issues, ya know? haha), there are certain days and nights where I want to feel extra beautiful and wear a pretty chemise (omg this thing is the softest piece of lingerie EVER!) and layer up with a cozy cardigan (one of my favorites over the past couple of years) and some ultra plush slippers. Cooler temps, fall foliage, cozy layers and the perfect pair of waterproof boots! I don’t know about y’all, but I am welcoming both November and autumn with open arms and some new shoes… 😉 As I map out my fall travels (…Iceland and NYC next week, eek!), I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of wet weather boots to keep me warm, dry and allow for plenty of adventure & exploring.
