Studded Bucket Bag

Simple, classic and chic – I think this might be one of my all-time favorite outfits. Stripes, pointed toe flats, the prettiest bucket bag…it’s the recipe for a timeless look you can wear again and again. Swap the denim skirt for high waist skinny jeans and add a belt, or get workwear ready with an adorable pair of black or camel dress pants. I am a big fan of getting more bang for your buck (always!), so investing in items you’ll get wear out of for years to come is a big “do” in my book.

Having the perfect accessories on-hand makes getting dressed a whole lot easier, and of course, more fun! From my shoes (ohh those gorgeous flats!) to my cat-eye sunnies (y’all know these are my absolute favorite) and that stunning handbag (the chain doubles for a whole new look, too)…let’s get to my outfit details!
This exact skirt sold out a few months ago (it went on clearance and I think I snagged it just before it was discontinued!), but this skirt by the same brand is a perfect alternate option. I normally size up in this brand (Topshop), but given that it hits at the waist, I ordered my regular size and it fit perfectly. I love that denim skirts are back in style, I think they’re adorable and can add a trendy touch to a classic look.

My top is by Madewell (of course!) and I think it’s pretty self explanatory why I scooped it up: stripes (obvi 😉 ) and the fit is just too good! It’s relaxed yet tailored, the perfect combo for an everyday button up you can wear from work to play. There aren’t many sizes left, so I am linking to a few other options below (like this tie front top, also by Madewell, that would be equally adorable!).

Those gorgeous flats are by Everlane and this is my first piece from them. One of my best friends wears this brand often and swears by their products (known for their really gorgeous leather goods at awesome prices), and I must say – I am LOVING these shoes! They’re so chic and a perfect black flat to add to your wardrobe…the type of shoe that never goes out of style.

Lastly, ohhh my heart swoons for that beautiful bucket bag! From the soft leather to the studded details and OMG that gorgeous chain! This handbag is by Sezane, an ultra feminine french brand that is taking the American fashion scene by storm – one lovely, darling piece at a time. Every time I wear this bag out, I get compliments and questions (where is that beauty from?!)…which is definitely a sign that I made a good choice with this one, ha! Sezane makes this bag in a dozen color options, I am also linking to the blush/nude option below, it was a tough call between that one and the black, they’re both magical.
