Go-To Transitional Jacket

A new season is upon on, which means finding those perfect transition pieces to take you from winter and right on into spring! When it comes to this gorgeous jacket, you can wear it EVERY season – trust me, it’s seriously perfect! I am such a fan of light layering and investing in key basics that dress up an everyday tank top and jeans, so this jacket was a must-have on my list. Side note: when we went to California last week, one of the gals was wearing this same one and it was SO CUTE! She is boho queen (seriously, I have major closet envy every time we hang out, ha!), so it was really fun to see the many ways this one piece can be styled. (Also very cute over a maxi dress…I got some serious inspo hanging with her, ha!).

My jacket is by Silence & Noise from Urban Outfitters – I am wearing a small for reference! It’s a “vegan leather” and sooo buttery and soft, truly I can’t recommend enough. Given that I try to invest in neutrals most of the time (…because you can generally pair them together = you get more outfits/wear out of them!), I was very excited to see this jacket on the UO site under the New Arrivals tab. I always find the “drape front” detail super chic, it really elevates an outfit and adds that fashion forward touch.

I paired the jacket with my go-to black satin cami – this is definitely a staple in my wardrobe, you can wear it so many different ways, super cute for date night, too! (Tuck into a high waist skirt, wear with shorts + ankle booties & a cool belt, etc. – easy to dress up or down!). I’m wearing my favorite pair of Levi high waist denim, too. I know, I know, are you sick of seeing these yet? Not sure that will ever happen, ha! They’re seriously TOO good – and under $90!!

Lastly, my shoes are by Sam Edelman and as I mentioned in my “goals for 2017” post last month, I wanted to branch out from my usual ankle booties/sneakers/flats routine and try and incorporate some chic pumps every now and then in my content! This pair is so classic and beautiful, definitely a closet staple now and for years to come! My handbag is by Furla and it’s a beauty. Love the shoulder strap length and studded details, this thing is a showstopper!
