Pep In My Step

Happy weekend, friends! The weather this week could not be more beautiful, thus, we’re excited to spend some quality time outside! Looking forward to a coffee (and breakfast taco) run, tending to a few errands around town and a hangout sesh with our families. Excited to take this weekend to relax and spend time with those we love. 🙂 Always a wonderful way to recenter and refresh before another week ahead!

Soo…what does one wear to do such things? The most comfortable and caaa-uuute outfit, of course! I never waiver when it comes to prioritizing comfort above all else, and lemme tell ya – these checkered slip-on kicks are not only REALLY comfy (no seriously, they’re awesome), but can we just talk about how fun they are?! I say with total confidence that they will bring joy to your day!
Last week I stopped by the wonderful Caffe Medici off South Lamar for a yummy hibiscus iced tea and we snapped this casual, everyday look. My jacket is by Sanctuary (one of my favorite brands for beautiful wardrobe staples) and you saw me bust this one out last weekend while we were in San Francisco (remember this Instagram?). I love that it’s that perfect olive green but in a bomber jacket style (normally the olive green is most prominent in the utility jacket version)…it makes it so unique but also that go-to everyday jacket. I am LOVING it for a winter to spring transitional piece – wearing a size small for reference, highly recommend!

My jeans are the black version of this pair that I wear ALL the time. They have a 10 inch rise, which I’ve discovered is the most flattering rise on my body type…so I think I’ll just keep buying whatever Levi’s carries but in the 10 inch rise haha. Creature of habit over here! They fit TTS for reference. My tee is by LUSH and I own it in a few colors, such a great basic to wear year after year, plus it’s super budget friendly (yay!). Lastly, my shoes are by Vans from Urban Outfitters and as I mentioned in this Instagram post yesterday, I am so honored and excited to work with their team and style a few of my favorite spring transitional pieces over the next few months! Urban Outfitters is a brand I pretty much drool over every time their catalog hits my mailbox, so this was a particularly exciting partnership in my world. One of those bucket list moments for sure!
