Casual Spring Layers

Hooray! Spring weather is finally upon us! I don’t know about y’all, but I am definitely a warm weather kinda gal…I guess that’s why Austin is where I’m meant to me! Texas heat is no joke, so I’m soaking up these gorgeous 70 degree days for as long as they’ll last. I feel like my legs haven’t seen the light of day in months (ah! I have a jeans obsession, well aware!), so it was fun to throw on the cutest babydoll dress with my go-to cardigan and some ankle booties for a coffee run on South Congress last week. (Psst…this is the Toms Coffeehouse – it’s one of my favorites in Austin, so yummy and great shopping!).

My adorable little dress is from Urban Outfitters and it comes in a bunch of color options, but I felt like I’d get a ton of wear out of the charcoal color! It’s easy to dress up or down – I paired it with some ankle booties (love these!) and my Chloe handbag to add a boho touch, but you could rock it with some wedges (like this gorgeous pair), swap the bag for a clutch and the long necklace for a dainty choker and voila, ready for date night or dinner with the girls!

I am such a big fan of Urban Outfitters and really love their selection of dresses each season. They just rock that effortlessly cool vibe and I can’t get enough! Spring and summer are my favorite seasons to shop their dresses (so many pretty florals, too!), you can scope out their darling dresses here.

My shoes are by Seychelles and OMG they are amazing! Once again, I am a HUGE fan of this brand. They make such beautiful, high quality shoes – yet at an attainable price point. Trust me, their shoes last forever! I still have a pair of slip-on ankle booties (this pair to be exact) and after wearing non-stop last year + trekking around ACL festival in them, they somehow still look and feel good as new. I’m pretty tough on my shoes, so that’s a testament to the quality! Ps. The ankle booties I’m wearing in this post fit TTS and I usually wear those nude “no show” socks with them.
