Our First Christmas Card!

Hello there! I am SO excited about todays post because I’m sharing our first ever (married couple) Christmas cards with y’all! I am such a sap for all things couple-y and festive, so when I had the chance to partner with Minted and create a fun holiday card of our own, I definitely jumped at the opportunity! Rather than get serious for our cards (…we don’t have a pup or kiddos right now, so it felt a little weird for us to stand and smile at the camera…), we decided to get extra dorky and awkward (obviously, right? 😉 ) and wear matching sweaters and rock a funny pose and facial expressions. It just felt more “us” to be a little goofy! Not going to lie, even though they’re silly, I am absolutely in LOVE with the cards! (…and the fella who agreed to wear a matching sweater with me, ha! 😉 ).

Though I am rarely organized (…ya know, just that one thing I am constantly working on!), Minted makes sending holiday cards SO easy and enjoyable! Once we had our photo of choice, I uploaded it my Minted account and from there was able to see what it would look like in hundreds of different card theme options. From more decorative to modern and everything in between, they have a TON of gorgeous themes to choose from. I also changed the shape of the card from a simple rectangle to that detailed shape to add a little “ummph” to the card (…is that how you spell that? I was trying to think of an alternative word to “pizazz” which felt ridiculous to write haha!). The cards are made of high quality cardstock, so they’re truly beautiful and not flimsy at all! Minted also creates personalized stamps that match the card theme of choice, so given that this is our first Christmas as “The Printys,” I felt inclined to scoop up a batch with a “P” right in the middle.. 🙂

Blake and I have been using Minted to print cards for over a year now (they did our save-the-dates and wedding invites, too!), so clearly we are huge fans and adore the simple process. You can check out the theme we picked here.
