Classic Chic Holiday Look

Hello there! I hope your week is off to a wonderful start! I have the it’s-nearly-Christmas-jitters as I hustle to wrap up gifts and do any last minute shopping… anyone else SO looking forward to Saturday when we can just relax in our pajamas until 3pm? I certainly am! 😉

Today I am so excited to partner with Banana Republic to chat about my very favorite holiday tradition and what to wear for it! Christmas Eve is THE night of nights for the Watson fam, so keeping it classy and dressing comfortably is a must. I don’t know about y’all, but I can’t get enough of that gorgeous camel color this season. It’s both approachable and chic at the same, and it pairs well with anything from dress pants to jeans and skirts. I am in love with this beautiful silk cashmere pullover (truly, this top is heavenly and so flattering! Wearing a size small) and my pants are a must from work to play. I paired the two with THE most darling little handbag… It reminds me of something my grandmother would have worn…so classy, feminine and timeless. This exact bag sold out (sorry!!), but I’m linking to a couple of very similar options below. 🙂

This look is the perfect Christmas Eve or Christmas Day outfit! Christmas Eve has always been the biggest night of the year for my family – we eat a big dinner, open gifts, set up toys for all the babies/toddlers in the fam (…while the parents/aunts/uncles enjoy another glass of wine, ha!) and overall celebrate the holiday and enjoy that special time together. It’s truly my favorite day of the year! Given that this sweater is ultra soft, the pants have a lot of stretch and the bag can be worn as a cross body, it’s a fabulous look if you have nieces and nephews (..or kiddos of your own!) running around and asking you to get on the ground and play with them. I always account for that part of family gatherings and dress comfortably just so I can pick up all my sweet little angels! (Pardon the mushy talk…this auntie is loud & proud! 😉 ).

I’ve been a fan of Banana Republic for as long as I can remember – back when I went into the office everyday and even still for gifts for the guys (gah, always so in love with their menswear!) and pretty essentials for myself.
