Holiday Party Outfit: Little Red Dress

Though we missed Blake’s office party this year (womp womp, I always look forward to it!!), as my friends make their way back home for the holidays, there are still plenty of occasions to get dolled up. Perhaps a night of cocktails at a cute little restaurant in town (there are still so many in Austin we need to try!), or a small wine and cheese gathering…it’s fun to throw on a cocktail dress and get a little fancy! …Oh right, and New Years Eve is just around the corner! 😉

This lace-y red number is by Topshop and seriously, it is GORGEOUS! I love the high neckline and scalloped trim detailing, it feels modest yet sexy at the same time. I’m wearing a size US4 for reference. Loving it paired with a chic blazer for extra warmth! Lastly, my shoes are that beautiful lace-up trend (which I am loving!)…my exact pair sold out, but I linked to a few nearly identical options below. I’m a big fan of the taupe color (it goes with everything) and the lace-up detail makes them ultra comfortable. Highly recommend adding a pair of lace-up pumps to your shoe repertoire if you haven’t already, they’re so much fun!
