Hello friends! I’m currently writing this post from a coffeehouse in Austin…it’s rainy and cold outside but there’s Christmas music playing and I’m nice and bundled up at my little table…Ohh how I love the holidays! We got back from Mexico last night and after sleeping like a rock, I woke up ready to take on the week (…with the help of a double latte, obvs..! 😉 ).
If you’ve been following me for over a year, you’ll remember my last post with Silver Jeans (you can see that post here) – one of my favorite denim brands, for more reason than one! 1. Adorable 2. As we enter the thick of these colder months, having fun with the denim trends and scooping up a pair of fabulous jeans is a must in my opinion. A little distressing, frayed ankles, skinny cut = my happy place when it comes to jeans. As y’all know, I’ve been trying to incorporate more black into my wardrobe (black = timeless, great investment color because you’ll wear it with a ton of different outfits!), thus, when I saw this pair of black skinnies, I knew I had to have them! I love them paired with that adorable denim sweater jacket, also by Silver Jeans – it’s been on repeat since it came in the mail! So cute with jeans or over a dress with sneakers or ankle booties.
Funny story: I wore these jeans during the evening portion of Thanksgiving (ya know…after I stuffed my face in a shift dress and was ready to run around with my nieces and nephews…thankfully these jeans have some awesome stretch to them!) and my older brother asked me where I got my jeans because he thought they looked really cool. Noah has amazing style, so I was extremely flattered that he loved my jeans! When my outfits are “Noah-approved,” that’s a good day! 😉
