Cozy Fall Outfit: Oversized Cardigan & Distressed Denim

Hello there! Y’all…this is my first post as a MARRIED WOMAN! Wahoooooo! Second, I am actually writing this post from our adorable little abode for the next few days in Athens, Greece! As I look at the clock on my laptop, I see it’s 3:45am in Austin (it’s 8 hours later here, so things are already movin’ and shakin’ as I look out the window…but Blake and I are relaxing with coffee and our jammies inside, ha!)… thus, hopefully a fresh post on my blog brightens up your Wednesday morning. 🙂 Buuut let’s be honest, how could it not when I’m featuring the coziest oversize cardigan (a fall wardrobe staple, in my opinion – you’ll thank me later if you decide to scoop this one up for yourself…basically feels like a giant blanket but looks really chic), the cutest little peplum tank top, go-to skinny jeans (very budget friendly) and my favorite ankle booties. Read on for all the details!

  This is a very similar outfit to the one I wore on the plane yesterday! I rocked the top/tank/jeans – you can see that here. Given that this Free People cardigan is supposed to have a naturally oversize fit, I am wearing a size XS for reference. It also comes in a gorgeous blush color (patiently waiting for the that one to come back in stock in my size!) and also charcoal grey. My tank top is also Free People and I’m wearing a size small – it’s seriously the cutest thing and SO comfy! The armholes are a little bigger, so I wear a fun bra top under it. One thing to note: the product image online is lighter than the actual top, so the color in my photos is an accurate depiction of the color!

My jeans are by Articles of Society and y’all…they’re just $64! This pair has quickly become one of my go-to pairs and always makes an appearance in my weekly jean rotation. If you haven’t noticed, I LOVE jeans…all seasons, all the time. Given that I spend a ton of time working on blog posts and answering emails at coffeehouses (it’s pretty funny, whenever my friends call me they know I’m either at my apartment or my favorite coffeehouse…literally becoming my second home!), jeans are my #1 choice when it comes to daily wear. This pair fits true to size – highly recommend!
