BTS Onboard Our Mediterranean Cruise

livvyland-blog-olivia-watson-princess-cruise-cabin-balcony-mediterranean-coast-breakfast-in-bedHello friends! Today I’m featuring the final blog post from our Mediterranean getaway with Princess Cruises! As I’ve mentioned before, piecing these posts together always gets me super mushy and brings about the “happy sads” because I get to relive our blissful trip as I edit each photo, but also get to face the reality that I am no longer on the boat…ha! I think that’s just how looking back at vacations goes…! However, this post is a pretty fun one because when Blake and I were on the ship, we were living it up and seriously THE happiest pair. Before the cruise, our last vacation together was to South Padre Island…and lemme tell ya, Texas beaches don’t really cut it like the Mediterranean Coast does, ha! (Hey, Galveston will always have a special place in my heart…but not quite like Italy now does..!). I think our facial expressions in most of these photos say it all. 🙂 Eight days, three countries and some unforgettable exploring, dining (y’all, the lattes and croissants on the ship were tuhh-die!) and some quality R&R time = the absolute best trip ever.

Today I’m featuring a little photo diary from aboard the ship, so here it goes!

livvyland-blog-olivia-watson-princess-cruise-cabin-balcony-mediterranean-coast-royal-princess-ship^^We got to go on a “captain’s tour” where we met the captain and his team, and were able to catch the view from their space! Heads up next time you go on a cruise – the staff can see every balcony, ha!

The “Sanctuary Deck” is a private deck area where there’s a waitstaff and plush lounge chairs in a secluded part of the ship. We definitely felt fancy being able to enjoy this space for a few hours! It was so nice and peaceful – we read and enjoyed our time together as we cruised into France.

When I returned back to Austin, I made a point to keep my croissant fix going – until I realized my body and bank account weren’t exactly on board haha. Either way, the croissants are magic and that butter is quite the added bonus, highly recommend!

The more the merrier! 😉 Seriously, everyone on the ship is so happy all the time (…I mean, why would you not be?) so something like this didn’t surprise me at all!

Give me a latte, croissants and my darling any day and I am a very happy person!
livvyland-blog-olivia-watson-princess-cruise-cabin-balcony-mediterranean-coast-royal-princess-ship-night-out-on-board^^ Last but not least, a quick outfit snap (is that romper not adorable?! psst… now on sale!) before Blake and I scooted off to one of the restaurants on board the ship for dinner. It’s so fun to get a little dolled up on the boat!

And there you have it! A quick photo diary of our time on the ship. Truth be told, the majority of the trip we were out exploring at each port (you can check out all of the cities we visited below in my previous wrap-up posts!), but with one full day at sea and afternoons and evenings to ourselves, we definitely made the most of living up the cruise life! Not pictured: an embarrassing amount of buffet visits, lots of Bloody Mary’s (quintessential vacay drink), a night at the club on board, Blake losing money at the cruise casino, rocking matching robes en route to a couples massage and lots of movie watching from the comfort of our cabin. Needless to say, this cruise was one for the books and a vacation we’ll never forget!!

If you have any questions about going on a mediterranean cruise, please feel free to leave them below! I’m always happy to answer whatever it is that’s on your mind! 🙂
