Date Night Denim

Wahoo! It’s Friday! Hello, weekend date night look! 😉 …Or really…hello Saturday date night look…because I am currently in my pajamas and it’s literally 9:30pm on a Friday night, ha! Either way, I’m excited to share this fun weekend outfit featuring another gorgeous pair of jeans (y’all, Express is crushing it right now when it comes to denim) and the sweetest lace top! (…that also comes in black and a gorgeous wine color.. mhm!).

Generally, Friday night is the designated “date night” in our abode…(unless it’s Monday and we are both exhausted, then we go to our fave Mexican restaurant for their buy one get one dinner special, ha!) – but most of the time, it’s Friday night. I get a little more dolled up than usual (y’all know me, half the time I am in jeans and a v-neck working at a coffeehouse!), so it’s a fun excuse to throw on an amazing pair of jeans, a cute pair of nude heels and a pretty top!

If you saw my post from yesterday, you know I rocked another pair of denim from Express (chatted about some seriously adorable distressed skinnies!!) and I’m loving how versatile their denim selection is! From casual and ultra relaxed, to fitted and chic (hey, you can never go wrong investing in a pair of dark wash skinny jeans), Express is all about creating amazing jeans that make you feel wonderful wearing them – and trust me, I definitely feel fabulous when I slip these pretties on!

I am wearing a size small in the top and the jeans fit true to size. If you’re in between, I recommend sizing down because they’ve got some stretch to them. Loving the medium rise waistline, so they hug it all in but also allow you to clean your plate (…priorities, right?), my kinda jeans! 😉 Ps. On the model these jeans hit perfectly at her ankle – if you’re under 5’8 (I’m 5’6), then you’ll probably need to roll them up like me! Nothing new, I do this with all my skinnies!
