His & Her Date Night Looks With Nordstrom

Hello there! Hope your week is going well! As we slowly but surely make our way to the weekend (aren’t 4-day weeks the best?), I am super excited to partner with Nordstrom and share a date night look…and y’all, it’s a miracle because Blake is actually making an appearance on my blog without it having to be an “engagement shoot” or similar type of “big day” post..wahoo! Doesn’t he look sharp? I think so, too! 😉

  As y’all know, Nordstrom is one of my very favorite retailers when it comes to shopping for anything from work attire to a date night outfit, they literally have something to match every occasion and style…and this goes for menswear, too! When I worked at Nordstrom way back in the day (during my college years), I was surrounded by men who dressed to the nines and knew how to wear a sports coat or suit, so as Blake and I are prepping for all the wedding shindigs leading up to our big day, we went on a hunt to find the perfect sports coat. (Great for guys to wear with jeans, a button up and a nice pair of shoes!). Let’s just say Nordstrom has an amazing selection of mens suiting brands at an array of price points, so it was easy to find one that fit our price range and was still top notch quality. (Seriously, how nice is Blake’s sports coat? I loooove him in this thing!).

Blake and I often stick to the more casual route when it comes to grabbing dinner at a restaurant in Austin – but sometimes it’s so nice to get dolled up, throw up some heels and dine at a fun restaurant outside our normal routine. We shot this look downtown and then ventured over to 2nd Street for a margarita and yummy mexican food on the patio at La Condesa – I highly recommend this date night spot if you live in Austin (or find yourself passing through!), it’s the best!!
