Hello there! How’s your weekend going? So far, I’ve spent my Saturday drinking coffee and cleaning up around the apartment – isn’t that generally how weekends go once you reach adulthood? Ha! Dishes, laundry…ohh you know, just livin’ the dream! 😉 I know I say this every weekend, but maybe one day I’ll feel like I have my life together – if it’s not one thing it’s another. Then again, if a messy apartment is the worst of my problems at the moment, I think I’m doing okay!
Though I’m in track shorts and a giant old t-shirt cleaning up in the morning, come Saturday night I am SO ready for a yummy drink and a patio dinner date with my darling! We are trying to save money and eat out less (…we’ve recently been talking about starting to buckle down and save for a house) so one strategy is to have one big date night on the weekend and cook dinner at home the rest of the time. (…We’ll see how that goes…going to try our hardest but working around two crazy schedules makes a dinner routine tough to nail down!). That said, on that one night a week, I’m going to want to look and feel beautiful (working from home = I am in jeans and a tee on most days!) – so wearing the perfect date night outfit is a must! 😉
Which brings me to this pretty and ultra feminine white and blush combination! I love anything blush pink at the moment and when I saw this off-shoulder chiffon number, I knew it would be the perfect (and breezy) top for anything from events to date night. The top is sheer, so I wore a nude bandeau top under it over my bra – it was perfect! (I linked to the exact bandeau below).
I paired the top with my favorite white skinnies (on SALE for just $38!), which are getting a TON of wear already – I highly recommend these, but order a size up because this brand runs small. My nude strappy sandal heels (currently on sale!) are a closet staple and can be worn to every occasion (even formal – these are the shoes my bridesmaids will be wearing!) and add some leggy length to your look. Seriously, best shoe invest ever, I promise! (And they’re ultra budget friendly!).
Lastly, I’m a big fan of mixing pretty pastels, so I paired my Kendra Scott necklace with the chalcedony stone color with my top. Love the pink and light mint combination – so subtle and soft! My handbag is Brahmin (yes, I am obsessed with this brand! This exact bag in this color is no longer available, so click here to see other color options, SO many gorgeous bags!) – how perfect and classy is this bag?! SO gorgeous. Finally, my sunglasses are Elizabeth & James from a site called Ditto where you can rent out designer sunglasses every month. Sign up and use code LIVVYLAND to get your first month free!
Hope you enjoyed this look, feel free to shop it all below! Wearing a size small in the top for reference. 🙂 Blake and I are headed to his cousins wedding this afternoon, excited to get dolled up and hang with the Printy fam all day! Hope y’all have a fabulous Saturday – XO!
