Summer Swimwear Roundup!

Happy Monday, gals! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen that I am already enjoying summer activities here in Austin… Blake and I ventured to the Greenbelt for a little creekside swim and picnic on Saturday. It’s been raining so much recently that there was actually plenty of water (it’s a miracle!) and TONS of people were out enjoying some quality time outside with their friends, family and SO many pups…it was so much fun to see! Summer is hands down the most fun season for me because I can finally partake in one of my very favorite activities..SWIMMING! Oh…and summer vacations aren’t so bad, either! 😉 But in all seriousness, once Austin hits those super high temps, you can find me swimming laps at the pool everyday (not even kidding, that’s my main form of exercise in the summer… I LOVE it!). Both my parents grew up as competitive swimmers (as in, held statewide records…true story!) so my siblings and I like to joke that we were swimming before we learned to walk.. which somehow I wouldn’t doubt knowing my parents love for the water, ha!

You may have seen my Instagram post from this weekend rocking a certain little swimsuit that I am CRAZY about (yes, all caps moment!) and you can see that look here, and shop that suit here – it’s actually that little black bikini on the upper right! L Space swimwear is so flattering and the quality is outstanding…and I’m a firm believer that you can never go wrong with a black swimsuit, they’re timeless! I wear a size XS in their suits for reference.

Nordstrom has SO many incredible brands with an array of styles to choose from – from boho to classic to sporty, they definitely have the style to suit you! (…Pun intended.. 😉 ).

From bikinis with fringe (LOVE the emerald green color!), fun straps and halter necklines, to one pieces with a little sass (how cute is that cactus?), a dash of sexiness (I kind of need the white and black suits) or classy and timeless (Kate Spade does it again! How precious is that blush sweetheart neckline suit?) – Nordstrom definitely has you covered!

As Blake and I prep for our Mediterranean getaway (we leave Thursday…OMG!), I’ll absolutely be packing some fabulous swimwear and a few coverups! I just ordered this one from Nords last week, patiently awaiting for it’s arrival on my doorstep before our trip!
