Striped Dress + Drape Front Jacket

Soo…let’s talk about this glorious dress and jacket combo here for a second…because it’s caaa-ute! This body-con dress is by Lush from Nordstrom and it’s pretty stinkin’ adorable if you ask me. For one, I love the texture the stripes bring to the dress, not to mention the material is really comfy and stretchy so it’s not constricting at all, and two – the detailed partial slit in the front..umm, gorgeous! Apparently an extra inch of leg goes a long way! Loving this dress.

My jacket is one of those perfect fall to winter stapes that’s chic and classic, so it goes with everything and elevates the look of an outfit because the cut is so fabulous and well…chic! The drape front and thin faux leather fabric makes it appear really delicate and it looks and feels expensive (heyoo, just what we want!) buuuut it’s actually only $88! Seriously, this jacket is a STEAL for the beautiful quality and overall versatility. Pair it with jeans and a cute blouse or wear it over a dress, the possibilities are endless. Oh, and it comes in 4 different color options that are all equally lovely additions to a fall wardrobe.

My bag is the ‘ol classic investment piece (it’s Valentino…I know I know, what?! You’re right, I absolutely cannot afford a shiny and new Valentino handbag…I have rent and a car payment and dinner to buy! …However, I can definitely save up for a Valentino handbag that’s 1/3 the price! Mhm, now that’s more my style. 😉 ). My shoes are old black booties I had stowed away in my closet, so I’ve linked to a similar pair here at a friendly price point. Finally, my glasses are Toms (yes, I love Toms, I basically want to live in their store off South Congress in Austin…), and last but not least, that super cool ring you see on my right hand is by Kendra Scott I am in LOVE with it. It had been on my wishlist for a while and I finally scooped it up when it went on sale – woo!
